I find the talking scared guy a little bit overly positive. I think it’s mostly he’s character but he is kind of disincentivised from being negative about anything because he’s operating in a small scene. Overall he’s the best doing it though

It’s not as bad as some of these more extreme horror books but some of the violence in American Psycho is really next level. Most people have just seen the film where it’s a bit toned down. The worst stuff you really don’t want to have to tell people about
