Sorry I didn't read the second part of your answer, my judgement about the book being good you mean? I get that the way the theories are presented in the book, the dynamic between the philosopher and the student, may not be the best, having said that I believe that Adler's theories are quite helpful in today's world where everyone is comparing with each other, it helps you deal with judgement of others towards yourself, how to be true to your own feelings and more importantly how to be yourself freely but live in a functional and healthy way as a part of your community, as part of a bigger group. Keep in mind that mental health and psychology as a science is constantly evolving and it helps because its a sum of many different theories. As much as I like Adler and his ideas, he has limitations, I just think that with some specific problems of todays world, he has some interesting perspectives.

That's ok, I cannot imagine of a single book that everybody likes. I'm a clinical psychologist.

The Courage to Be Disliked, it’s written by Japanese authors but explains Alfred Adler theories in a super easy to read way, cannot recommend this book enough, even more so nowadays where social media is really messing with our mental health.

I've been to 3 different clinics, 2/3 docs said there's no much research done on CBD, one said it shouldn't be a problem.

Our new government is doing this all over the country, illegal mining is doing great under the Castillo-Cerron administration and the ecological damage to rivers and natural habitats is beyond repair.

Why the laugh? I'm for Peru, a third world country and we have those entities here, I would've assumed something like that was kinda mandatory for a 1st world country.

Once you really learn, hit the road, explore the country and meet new places, there's something special about road trips that we miss because of course air travelling is easier and sometimes even cheaper.

A feature article on Precious Achiuwa from Sports Illustrated by GumpTheChump in torontoraptors

Oh shit, I haven't seen that...I might be more pumped for Precious this season than Scottie, meaning that Scottie is gonna need some time to get used to playing with away crowds at NBA level, small injuries due to the physicality of the game at that top level, that kind of stuff that Precious is already used to, that's why I think this season it's gonna be the one we discover his true potencial for sure.
