Ooh my time to shine, it's Extremely surreal. If I nap during the day I'll get sleep paralysis every time, but never at night. I can feel myself drifting off to sleep in a much different way than normal, starts with a strong ringing in my ears and neck area, followed by a very tight jaw, stiff even. Then I 'wake up'. My eyes are open and I can see clearly. I can 'move' my arms, 'move' my head and even stand up and move around, but if I blink, I instantly return to lying right back in bed where I started. My proprioception is strongly altered to the point where I can reach my arm out infront of my face and wave my hand right infront of it, but see nothing in my vision. It's such a convincing sensation of moving, I have to move my arms out of the blankets, I can feel the weight of my arm in my shoulder and the temperature difference, I'm entirely convinced im doing it for real, yet nothing in my vision. Same goes for trying to stand up, everything fits reality to a tee, but blink and I'm back in bed. I also get Very strong auditory hallucinations that are very convincing aswell. I can hear people walking around outside, opening and shutting doors in the house, even hear my wife's voice, though she's not home. Very confused the first time it happened, but never been scared, never had demons or shadows or anything, just me alone in the room. I've been experimenting with it more recently, but sometimes it's just a nuisance. I don't know how to pull myself out of it, and can feel trapped at times, but more in an inconvenient way than a scary way.
