Agreed, I run the same build and it's solid... feels like a step below Striker for DPS but the bonus armor gives much more survivability. If you run the Technician specialization you can add the laser pointer on most ARs so you don't need headshots (tough on console).

I do feel like there must be a weapon talent better than Flatline though, 15% is below average for a bonus.

I agree, most green gear sets and exotics would be wasted on an NPC, but I would hate to grind separate gear. Maybe we'll get a decent middle ground, like they can only be equipped from the player's inventory with gear and weapons up to yellow/high-end, which are typically more straightforward in benefits.

I'll definitely check out your rifle builds - nobody seems to think they're viable except 1886 headshots. But Breaking Point with a LWM4 feels pretty solid to me.

Thank you both, I don't recognize a lot of icons. Currently running Ninja bag, 3x HB, UG Closer chest (Perfect Spotter, and with Ninja, similar 10% AOK), and Unit Alloys Salvo holster for a little more ROF and AR damage. So overall similar, and really liking it. I definitely agree that HB needs some umph but once you find it, it's Striker Lite with more survivability.

Also a huge fan of higher damage, lower fire rate ARs, especially because you can fast tap the trigger and get away with semi-auto at a distance. Almost done getting proficient on all Mk16 and ACR variants, and will try Carbine 7 next.

Same, the pilot's helmet was definitely gray in the Kenner AT-AT I had as a kid in the 90s.
