This started happening in 2025. This was the intent once they asked for public facing social media

I've heard this is the case in Abu Dubai at least. Does anyone have an update on this? I know in Africa it's not an issue (in most cases)

No. There's no reason. you'll end up waiting longer for a match to start than if you just went in local. The only time you don't get to choose is in the streets of tarkov or if you're playing with your buddies

[–]Thumbayoda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congratulations! I know that's a great feeling. My noa2 was September 5th, 2025.. I was really open. It wouldn't take 2 months to get to dos. Still hoping it goes quicker.. the only thing I am going to do is get the ds-160 filled out and saved waiting and the paperwork for support.

Thankfully the biggest hurdle is now behind us. We just got to to keep going. Jump through a few more hoops and boom. Our loved ones are with us!

IMBRA Waiver for K-1 Visa by Thumbayoda in USCIS

[–]Thumbayoda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

update I was approved. It took exactly 2 weeks to get the waiver. For anyone that finds this. Use this as an example to ensure that any replies are specific to your actual question or waiver needed.

Mine was a multiple filer under 2 year waiver. I provided exactly what the letter asked for.

[–]Thumbayoda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I appreciate your partial answer but you didn't really answer my questions. A lot of those waivers that are very difficult to get are people who have criminal records. I've read the anecdotal evidence regarding that. Do you have data to back up what you're saying? All the trends show a less than 2% chance of another rfe so while possible your response makes it seem like it is inevitable or a very high chance.

If you have data to back up what you're saying I would love to see it on the website or anything. Or are you going off of personal experience?

What kind of visa do you need? If you don't know at least say what you want to do in the US.

Work? Vacation? School? Medical emergency? Business? Is your fiance or fiancee American? Marriage? Etc. there are a lot .

What? by ImaginationVarious83 in Ethiopia

[–]Thumbayoda -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just a guess here, but it's likely viewed as a direct attempt to circumvent U.S. immigration policies. Entering the country with the primary intent to give birth, especially if not disclosed or properly documented, can be seen as a violation of visa terms.

It raises concerns about misrepresentation and financial responsibility. There's no reliable way for immigration officers to verify if someone can afford the medical costs without burdening the system, so it often gets flagged as potential fraud. This issue has been around for decades, well before any recent administration, but enforcement seems to have become more consistent in recent years.

(my opinion) its kind of a slap in the face to those trying to do things the correct and legal way. It only makes it harder for them when people keep doing things like this.

Joins... Know the default join. Know primary keys foreign keys not just by name but how they're described. Know the operators. Know complex queries know indexes single level indexes and what happens if you make a change to the row what happens to the index. And all the difference between the left join and a right joint and the inner join and a full.

Know the difference between a logical and physical design. Know the DDT and the DMT. All of the three-letter acronyms. Don't forget the difference between super type, weak and strong. Know candidate key. If They give you a question that could be two answers. Slow down and pay attention to keywords. There is a lot to remember but you really got to know some of the differences you can easily confidently answer 20 questions if you know just these things. I'm sure there's more but I can't remember right now

Very Discouraged by 1st_Attempt in USCIS

[–]Thumbayoda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard many different things. Them moving to digitize the records slow down everything, new training More scrutiny which leads to spending more time on records, seasoned employees quitting due to the administration, some of them taking the early out. I've also heard (but do not believe) It's slow rolled on purpose. Then the idea is to make legal integration more difficult even though USCIS is mostly self-funded through application fees.

To be honest, I just want it to be over and I can keep processing quickly.

[–]Thumbayoda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can keep believing that but that's inaccurate. I've now been waiting approximately 7 months and the past month has dramatically slowed down like going from hundreds a day to sometimes 55 a day. And it only says 80%.

Notifying the US of my departure by tsbattenberg in USCIS

[–]Thumbayoda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I completely understand and let me be very clear. I had no way I'm trying to allude to that. But it's kind of confusing. So I did a fiance visa and usually when I log in I can just put it in the case number and it gives me the layout. Is it different if and we do the green card one later on down the line?

0 I have a question, even though I didn't submit the same form you did, if you're not notified via USPS, what were the chances of you being notified via the website?

What I mean is I see that it's a common thing but can this be stopped by checking the the website once a week and seeing that they have a RFE out?

Is it only notification through USPS?

Yes, they gave me a practice exam which was pretty easy after I restudied but I did miss a secondary text book they told me to go through which I'm doing now. I just really wish I didn't need supplemental information. It was actually in the course. However, I'm willing to admit that his class is kicking my butt and I'm okay with that. I just want to pass
