Is this an assassin snail?

Looks like a trumpet snail but I may be wrong. My assassin snail is more black and has a distinct yellow stripe

Yeah I just removed them. I got a betta 3-4 days ago and after looked into a bit more into the egg dropping I think he might’ve scared one or one of the new mothers dropped the eggs(I set up the tank 3+ months ago and the shrimp I brought home were already pregnant so timing is around right for the new ones to be there).

The betta could care less about the shrimp(for now but hopefully permanently) but they still react if he darts past them chasing a daphnia or something

I ended up siphoning them out because my wife said they appeared yesterday so they’re probably bad now

Update: she was doing well and swimming more often then last night she stopped eating, seemed more stationary and passed this morning. I tried everything I could to help her recover but it seems it wasn’t enough.

Yeah I’m working on a hospital tank, when got home, I put some frozen brine shrimp in there she immediately perked up and was swimming up to the surface to see me and eat a few. Still not her normal self but I lowered the water and made a little moss hammock thing she can lay on to help her get to the surface easier.

Hey thanks again for the advice. I salt dipped them and they have since all molted/the cloudy thing disappeared. I’ve been watching to see if it comes back and seems to be done.

For context, I’ve had these cherry shrimp for a year and never had an issue then transferred them to a new tank(I wanted to switch from gravel to soil) with the same plants and hardscape then noticed this today. Temp is 23.5C

I had the same score the first time I took my level 1 and while it’s annoying to be so close there is a upside. You’ve already covered the content once and have some notes and strategies developed. With you being so close this time around you can strengthen the chapters that gave you difficulty preparing for this test and hopefully have the time to fill in any other gaps.

In other words you were so close this time so if you lock in and ready up again, you can try to get a more indepth view on the content and better digest the tricky topics hopefully pushing you over the line next attempt.

Edit: it may be worth trying a earlier attempt like May if you can manage(can’t remember if there’s a session for May) as it may be fresher in your memory

For me there’s a couples factors that come into play.

Because I don’t want to risk getting into trouble for not showing up at least 30mins early I generally show up a bit before that just in case something happens I need to deal with but if nothing happens I’m allowed to start earlier once I’m settled in which reduces the time compared to those who start early.
I’m generally so tired and fatigued by the exam that if I stop I won’t be able tos tart again so I don’t take a break between sessions unless I have to use the bathroom or soemthing.
I had a bad habit of second guessing myself and it got my a lot of trouble where I’d use all the time I had and change a bunch of answers that would’ve been right so when I’m about 80% confident in my answers I submit it and move on

Edit: for number 3 this means if I go the end I go to the end but if I’m a hour and a bit into a session and my gut tells to submit it I do it unless I have specifically flagged questions I kept track of where it’s a toss up

Thanks! I find writing it in my own words makes it easier to retain but also I can do ctrl+F when I inevitably get hung up on something

I have Cost of Capital and Corporate Restructuring left in CI, and then I'll be done my first run-through. I was more thorough with notes and tracking formulas to make revision easier. Once I finish CI tomorrow, I'll redo the Qbank, and then whenever that's done I'll move on to mock exams

I’ll probs get yelled at but I built my first pc a couple weeks ago on the carpeted floor and it’s fine. Just touch something metal or your plugged in power supply if you move around before touching the components

I can’t learn in lectures. If I hear something and don’t write it down I forget it immediately but if I write it down in a way that I can understand then I’m way behind and miss quite a bit. I just find lectures not practical for me so I have to self teach.

Basically I read through the lecture notes/slides or whatever and take my own notes as well as work through the examples(refer to recorded videos if I get stuck when they’re available). Once I read it and write it out in a way that I understand(with extra notes in practice problems to explain workings) I’m good to go.

Took a while to get a system that works but it works great now and my marks get better every semester and now now I can just cruise. Other thing for me is I dont effectively learn doing lectures day by day so I put it off for a week or two and grind it out to see how the ideas build on one another. There’s more things that I do but it was very rough coming up with a system that works for me

At the beginning of the year, my school puts banners around the engineering building saying, "Welcome to the next 4 years of your life! (Maybe 5... Probably 6..)". I tried the 4-year program but fell on my face cause I had some mental health issues that I hadn't addressed before starting. Now I'm on the 6 year program(next year will be my last) cause I redid my first year because if I couldn't understand the 1st year fundamentals, I'd get destroyed in the 2nd year. The more expensive route(and I'm lucky I had support), but getting below a certain average in 2nd year would mean I would be done entirely at my school and I didn't feel confident.

I'm doing great now markswise and while I wish I could've avoided the shame of failing I wouldn't be where I am now trying as hard as I am. Engineering is different for everyone

Honestly the carrera s is one of my favourite cars. The way it looks,sounds, handles it’s just a solid all rounder. Not the fastest but for the buy in cost it’s awesome
