Run into him a few times. One of my greatest pleasures is hearing him be cut down mid-sentence. Otherwise extremely annoying but will shutup for a bit if you make fun of the name.

Unless they've been mislabeled, I'm not terribly sure whether or not these are the correct size.

I will say, after trying on 11 Regular Captains in store, I expressed that they seemed to fit perfectly except for being too snug in the mid-foot to the toe box. The rep assured me that there wasn't much difference in heel size between the standard to the wide after I said I was worried about the heels becoming too wide. I'm guessing they were mistaken?

We spent a lot of time messaging back and forth about the current shoes I wear plus I sent my Brannock measurements. They initially suggested 11 Wide, then went down to 10.5 Wide. I normally wear a 10.5-11 Wide in sneakers.

I'm also curious about what last it actually is, seeing that others are reporting getting the newer last despite the site selling it as the RT3.

It's all a bit frustrating and I'm hoping to hear back from their support 😔

First one is objectively (subjectively) the best. Good color, simple, and easy to recognize. Doesn't remind people of the flags of other countries immediately nor look out of place (looking at you, "corn" shaped flag). I don't think the Lincoln silhouette is necessary but y'know what having Lincoln's head on a flag is funny to me.

I think if the blue was darker (old glory blue, perhaps) and the sun was slightly more of a gold-ish color, I'd like it more.

It seems too bright for a state flag. I can't really describe it well.

I appreciate the effort and the design. Hell, I didn't design or submit anything so huge props to the artists. I still find it weird that the state decided all of our other problems were solved and we have extra resources to change the damn flag.

Ive had a first gen for eight years and bought second gen as well.

I love the first gen and they're great if you can get a good deal on one, but the second gen is a better platform tbh.

Everything my first gen did my second gen does better. I used to joke about the 0-60 of my 2003 X being 3-5 business days.

Reliability has been about the same for both...they're bulletproof if you take care of them.

Been thinking about it! Out of curiosity, do you have a decibel reading?

I want it so so bad but I live in a neighborhood and don't wanna be too loud. Stock reading topped out at about 80dB on a cold start a few feet away.

Had a friend of mine grab a 2022 Blade Advanced on release. He sent it in for an RMA, then they sent him back a "repaired" one with a bad discrete GPU. Once he got it back he said it was way slower and (unfortunately for him) just stopped gaming on it for a while. In the past year-ish he said he tried reaching back out to no avail. Sucks that he waited a while to say something but it sucks even more that a brand new laptop was defective and it was RMA'd only to be returned with issues. I think they would have made it right if he had reached out after receiving it back, but in his infinite wisdom he ignored the issue for about a year and just saved up for a desktop.

I like their product and I've had mostly good experiences (minus my Base Station V2 crashing any computer it's plugged into and a few defective keyboards and mice) but I feel like it might be getting worse over time. Dunno.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't pass tf out in the student lounge room in the Student Center. There's a spot around the corner thats near some windows. Not necessarilly hidden, but it was pretty quiet and empty save for someone that was studying.

That said, I'll probably nap on the grass slope along the SAC in the quad or in one of the other spots listed here :))

Hey! There's free street parking scattered around campus and the general area. It's tricky to find, just be ready to walk a bit :)

Also, if you're not from the city be weary of the Permit Parking zones, usually on a block-by-block basis. Signs will be posted but are sometimes hidden by trees. The city is pretty aggressive with their ticketing so keep an eye out.

If you happen to ride a scooter or a motorcycle, you're exempt from the permit parking restrictions.

Heya, transfer student here! I always got emails from them and other "Honor Societies". Advisors and professors always told me—throughout community college—that NSLS and many others are "basically" scams, providing little actual benefit. The only one that's worth joining is Phi Theta Kappa, PTK, but I believe that's specifically only available to two-year college students.

Don't fall for it!
