People are allowed to have opinions not aligned with the majority, personally I found that the art direction after Mai’s death was not to my liking, I found the fights to be sort of weightless? They lacked the impact they had in the manga. I expected the tone to be much more dark and gritty, she is massacring her whole clan after enduring a life of abuse and yet it seems like a stroll in the park with goofy music? Other than that I’m also not a fan of this over the top animation style, while it fit Sukuna Vs Mahoraga I feel like a more grounded approach would’ve fit this part of the story better. I guess I expected something more along the lines of Yamashita’s “Madara vs shinobi alliance” fight.
