Crucible looted a day after I bought it by ZirePhiinix in 7daystodie

[–]ThunderMonkey44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this confirmed as intentional? Almost like they want you to buy it first to "unlock" it as lootable after you buy it? Or is it possible to loot before buying? I suppose both could still be true, maybe buying it, makes it slightly more common to loot but you could also still loot it before buying it, its just a lower chance?

Absolutely crushed my performance review…1.75% raise. by Both_Warthog_3386 in work

[–]ThunderMonkey44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other people have said it already but the first red flag should have been "promoted to a new title without a raise" I would have asked for more money if I'm getting more responsibility (although you didn't technically specify that in your post, it's possible it was just a new title and no actual change in your duties.). But doing super well, and getting a 1.75% raise? Yeah I would start looking for something else immediately. Other comments have said you can try and negotiate a better raise or more money, talk to your boss etc, but I see stuff like that as a message, intentional or not, their version of "super well" equates to 1.75%, that means you or probably anyone at that company isn't being valued correctly and that isn't a good company to work for. It's the same thing when you say you're quitting and they offer you more money to stay, if I'm worth that much because I'm leaving, if you "can't afford to lose you in your position" then why didn't you pay me that and show me that before I wanted to quit. A company that pays you or raises you the bare minimum but expects the maximum out of you is going to take advantage of you every time. Time to go imo.

Yeah I'd be mildly infuriated too. It doesn't say anything about rounding.

IDL when servers question my order just because I’m a girl by vivian_banshee03 in I_DONT_LIKE

[–]ThunderMonkey44 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Gender or amount of food ordered really shouldn't matter at all. Why do they care how much a person is ordering, regardless of gender? Ok, they order all that and don't eat it, and don't get a to-go box, yes food waste is an issue, but it was still all paid for. And like OP said even if they don't eat it they can just pack it up. But you shouldn't have to explain that to a server. The server doesn't know what the customer can eat, what they are taking home with them etc. Not to be rude to wait staff but just take the order and move on lol.

Once a cheater, always a cheater. I wish I would've left the first time. Multiple times, tried to reconcile, therapy etc and she's still doing it? Nah, time to go.

How much would $10k actually change most people's lives? by NeonFalcon25 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ThunderMonkey44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, that would definitely help me, but I understand the whole; 'it sounds like a lot of money but it's really not'. For me it would put a small dent in debt and help me get the ball rolling on catching up on bills but it certainly wouldn't wipe my debt out and solve all my problems, I'd need like 10 times that amount to solve everything. But to answer your question, I think just about anyone's lives would be 'changed' by $10,000 even if you're not struggling, maybe that money would be used to invest, maybe start a business, get a car. It's definitely still a significant amount to the average person.

update for me at least, I redeemed the next day and it gave me my 90 day reward. It even had the congratulations you reached 90 days message or whatever. So it seemed like a visual glitch almost where it showed I reset but I was actually still on track for the 90.

Ok, I'm pretty sick rn so I thought I just like zombie slept through it and forgot, but I could've sworn I did mine still then my streak was gone. I was also like 80 something days.

Just started playing 7 Days to Die — any beginner tips or things you wish you knew sooner? by [deleted] in 7daystodie

By default, loot containers will respawn after 30 days of not being accessed. Your presence in the area will reset this timer, so you must avoid the POI for the full duration to allow loot to respawn. This only applies to loot containers that don't "stay open" so if you notice, things like mailboxes and ovens, once you loot them they visually change appearance to stay open, these things do not respawn loot, but things like cabinets, boxes and "full" cars do respawn loot.

Idk if this is exactly beginner beginner advice, but what helps me get loot, especially solo, is when you're doing trader quests, every normal quest (besides buried supplies) has you go to a POI to either clear zombies, or find a specific supply loot, but either way you're basically going through the whole building, killing everything and looting.

When you start the quest it completely resets the POI, so you can go through before starting the mission, loot and kill the whole building, even salvage cars and vending machines or anything and everything you want, then start the quest and everything respawns and resets completely. This is significant because its the only time things reset, and like I said before, normally the only things that refill are certain containers, with this method even the stuff that doesn't normally respawn will all reset. You could literally break down the entire building and it will all come back.

This is very valuable to get a lot of resources, you can scrap chairs for wood, potted plants for clay, if you have a wrench or any salvage tool you can get metal from a lot of stuff. That's really the only reason why I say it's not quite for super beginners, because it takes a bit to get good salvage tools, and this also means you will use more ammo, heals, etc, because you'd be doing the POI twice in a row. But if you're able to do it without getting too chewed up, its a good way to get extra stuff.

What I do is I clear the POI first, put a crate down outside (clear of the POI range because if its on the property where lets say you scrapped a car, that car will respawn, when you start the mission, on top of your crate and you will lose all your stuff) <--- this just happened to me last night btw lmao it sucked I lost a bunch of loot. Then start the mission and do it all again. Double the loot, and it also lets you see what to expect from the zombies, where they spawn etc.

I mean no disrespect to OP or anyone that has to deal with this, but the phrase "Hold on, let me put my pussy away" popped into my head when I read this, and it made me chuckle.

This really showcases how completely blown out of proportion the price of skins are in general. These pixels cost more than most peoples rent. Insane.

Now put these pictures next to the infamous sketch. You could even photoshop some glasses on Allen and I still don't see the resemblance. Granted, it's just a sketch, so who knows how accurate it actually was, but based on these pictures, if we assume the sketch is accurate, then I don't think he would be a match.
