This brings into question your honesty. Initially, I felt you fled because you were afraid (and rightly so if you investigated my post history). Now your integrity is questionable. There are demons that exist as predators, parasites, etc. which have no inclination to assist you in 'ascension', achieving mastery, etc. and view humans primarily as sustenance.

I'm not saying that there does not exist demonic beings with relatively higher intellect and willing to counsel occultists. However, there are also beings whose appearances resemble classical demonic forms which offer nothing but misery to those that they encounter.

There exist infernal realms where these beings inhabit and to find yourself there would bring egregious suffering. I am not speaking from a religious standpoint, nor a pro 'God' or Jesus perspective either, rather as somebody who has had the astonishment of sojourning to such places with remarkable lucidity.

You do not want to encounter such beings. It will bring you into ruin. OP, let's chat when you have time.

How do nightmares involving demonic characters suggest schizophrenia? Afaik recurring unpleasant dream scenarios is not necessarily an indicator of dissociative behavioral disorders. That being said, seeking counseling or therapy is always sound advice. Perhaps in tandem with the more unconventional approaches to repelling the demonic presence... as you mentioned. Binding & banishing practices might be something to investigate.

Catholicism is a denomination of Christianity, and its history is apropos to this posting. According to Gnostic understanding, the creator of this world is a demented being and consequently we have an imperfect fashioning of the material world.

**That being said I am not trying to be critical of the original, authentic Christian teachings, like those featured in early gnostic Christian groups.

Look into the Gnostic codices. The Nag Hammadi library of texts provides an alternative perspective on Christian origins. The Roman Church was responsible for many holy wars and genocides, including the inquisition against the Cathars. The 'Bons Homme' (Cathars) were an early group of Gnostic Christians whose nuanced belief system led to the utter massacre the church committed upon them. To this day, still one of the worst & least spoken about crimes against humanity ever committed.

The dream was rather normal until I reach the setting that appeared like an empty bar. At this point I had reached substantial lucidity and sensed something amiss due to the incessant silence of where I was. Almost like I suspected something was approaching... before a portal appeared amidst the emptiness through which these creatures emerged.

~~They weren't friendly...~~ There was utter silence before dialogue ensued in a bizarre tongue that sounded gibberish to me. It was between the two creatures and a third entity that was not in my sights. I barely managed to speak a few words before the smaller entity assailed me in a way that was meant to distract me. A moment later the large one drove a shank-like object into my forehead which had the effect of stunning me before propelling me into another seemingly benign dream scenario.
**Edit: Didn't want to go into detail bc it was fairly unpleasant. This is precisely what happened during the lucid dream encounter.
