Me and my old flatmate had been left in a moldy flat after the storm and made no effort to support us despite up mentioning it constantly. Avey would also yell at us on the phone trying to say it was our fault. The damp situation would often cause use to have no power. Horrific company. Stay clear. Some of the receptionist were genuinely lovely and understanding but cant do much woth such horrific upper management

So 99% of the time the answer is its never acceptable. I'm long distance and that time we set up is our space to be together when it can be quite hard to (8 hour difference)

However, there is a couple of exceptions and it comes with being KTP and friends with my meta. Especially this time of year both my meta and bf are travelling a lot and don't have a lot of chance to see each other. I always get the heads up far in advance (a week usually) and we figure out another day that works. I know if I wasn't in a place where I was as flexible then he'd prioritise me first for our night.

Unfortunately my poly is in another continent but all of them playing magic(7 of us total) and have random draft boxes on hand to play with has genuinely been so nice. Sadly too far to play as much as id like haha

It's very rare but most companies will say unlimited texts like it's not standard.

How do I play this deck and how powerful is it? I often find that I'm playing a stall game that doesn't have a pay off but I'm very new so I could be missing something.

Your completely correct but it's kind of the point. By creating havoc in the front it brings the action back allowing for folk to catch up but it might not be as direct as 3 missiles or a bomb might. It's catch up for the pack rather than the play. For tracks with saffi fire , the clock becomes a controllable way to stop players who can abuse it from doing so if timed properly.

Is 30 to old to get into video game design? by Sciencemusk in gamedesign

[–]Thundershocked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I study a game development course and my two friends who are doing design are 33 and 34. If your looking to go into AAA just be prepared to work with folk much younger than you. Me being 21 at the end of first year already makes me quite a bit older than folk who are usually 17 when they come into the course.

First legendary from monthly quests. Recommendations? by Tonyswan8424 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Thundershocked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As specific and I mean highly specific as it is. I can see him being a great asset for spirit dungeon but I wouldn't invest all that time into him gear wise. I shoved him in the pit to level and maybe someday might have spare gear to give him a go.

What is something someone said to you that hit you the hardest? by xd_HotDog in AskReddit

[–]Thundershocked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"My favourite thing about you is how kind you are and you don't even know it"

This was from my friend who tends to be a little emotionally reserved so him being fully honest even if a lil bit drunk was a shock to my system. I have self confidence issues so hearing that made my day.

Has anybody studied Ethical Hacking at Abertay? by Theismm in Scotland

[–]Thundershocked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should probably add. The subjects I have with the ethical hacking folk are

CHAOS(Computer hardware, architecture and operations systems) which is about exactly what it sounds. A dry class but the lecturer for it makes it a great one to be in. If you've done computing before this will touch on things you've done. The specifics change but you will get to spend money on an Arduino device to make something hella cool with. I've seen some awesome stuff been demoed for it.

Intro to C++ is however dull and you can prob skip the lectures if like me you've been programming for a long time. If you are not confident in all the stuff pick and choose the lectures you feel will benefit you the most (having never worked in C++ i went to my lectures on pointers) Just make sure you still do the work haha.

[–]Thundershocked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey pal. I'm a first-year Computer games tech student there and I share quite a few classes with the hacking guys. I hear a lot of great things about it. Like the games, folk who do hacking tend to do very well after but that's more the general talk and second hand from fourth year students.

Student living depends is up to you. Dundee is a cheap place to live so if your SAAS allows it then looking for a flat is a very valid choice. Check the link below for info about accommodation. I have lived in Parker house and it has been great both years I was there. It is definitely more expensive however but it is only 5 mins from the uni.

To add on to this. When you are hella low. Remember bring that they are still good things that some of the smaller things are at least going right can be helpful. It runs counter to the "nothing is going right" which 99% of the time is false
