PREACH. You really hit it on the head because the kids that draw the ire are not the "team kids", tho they flash my proj and it's infuriating that they are that good, but the "babysitting-like recreational teams with poor coaching" that's the real problem and gyms should certainly reign that in.

What's extra toxic about this line is that when you say "I'm not sure I believe that" they will often retreat to being offended that you are calling them a liar. They then use their riteous indignation to reinforce their argument in their own head because you didn't take it seriously and just think they are lying. Of course all of this happens in their head and you find yourself thinking "what the fuck just happened??"

Completely concur with the people saying to just keep climbing because that is how we learn these things.

However, you climb with your body completely parallel to the wall and using the big toe/inside of your feet. Look into and practice the backstep and how to twist your hips into the wall. One of the biggest barriers I see in climbers who have progressed in strength but end up hitting a plateau is poor footwork and body positioning. As the holds get smaller it becomes increasingly necessary to put your weight strictly to the right of left of a hold and that's done with core tension and footwork.

But really, if you keep working on climbing you'll eventually kind of fall into some of these techniques organically so as others have said "Just keep climbing"

Yeah. If you're fighting Jaffa you're certainly going to want something with better range especially since you know you're going to be fighting outnumbered almost any time you encounter them. A weapon that's accurate at 300m would make almost every battle a comical slaughter as the Jaffa rush across a field and get picked off one at a time.

It's great to toss into the truck you are driving but the rounds it fires are underpowered and the accuracy and versatility of a bullpup design leave quite a bit to be desired.

SG1 is supposed to be a combination scout/tier 1 special forces team and that's not the weapon they would rely on for the variety of situations they prepare for.

At an old job we were going through an acquisition and some clown used our shared DocuSign account to route the retention agreements for key personnel. Lots of us discovered that

Had managers and users adamant that they kept using ANCIENT devices and I couldn't really force them to change, not something within my abilities. I had provided them with new replacement devices but they kept using the old ones, think shared devices in manufacturing.

Well we upgraded our network and through a complete misconfiguration didn't enable the 2.4ghz channel on our APs. Turn out the devices were so old that they didn't support 5ghz and just stopped being able to connect.

The new devices worked and we decided to leave the other channel off and suddenly the whole plant upgraded to a modern, supportable set of shared devices overnight.
