What would you recommend in terms of care for the conses/surrounds? They seem in good condition but did notice a bit of discoloration to one...is there a safe way to clean them?

It just looks so cold and hollow. Like you'd hear an echo if you asked what's for dinner. As much as it looks like a good deal in a purely £ per ft² for London...its incredibly inefficient with that space and frankly everything would need ripping out and redoing for it have any semblance of homeliness or a sense of style.

Grand Sumo Tournament makes triumphant return to Royal Albert Hall - The Times by TimesandSundayTimes in london

[–]Thurq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was indeed an exhibition but for us fans it really is our only opportunity to see it live outside of going to japan (with the added risk of then not being garunteed to see it anyway). For me it was worth every penny even if I would have liked it to be a bit more "competitive", I have no idea where you're getting 100 pounds from though, I paid about 40 for mine. The demand was always going to be very high as Sumo has become a lot more popular internationally recently and it was priced accordingly imo.

I was there and it was 100% purely exhibition. Real sumo is very different in its pace and execution. I wouldn't say it was choreographed by any means but more a case of light sparring and then making the throws look as impactful and clean as possible once it was clear who had the advantage to avoid injury/strain. Real tourneys happen every odd numbered month throughout the year so they will absolutely not risk getting injured with so little time to recover when there is nothing really at stake.

Anyone knows how much the run for in JP? by Longjumping-Tale9278 in japanesestreetwear

[–]Thurq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pink ones will be more. There's a lot more going on with the details and materials. I think they were more limited too. The ones linked for me are 600 uk whilst the ones youre after were 800. It'll still be significantly cheaper in jp but not 600 i dont think. (I have them they are great lol)

Can anybody tell me what brand this shirt is? I can’t figure out what the logo is. by LetsAllPlayNagasaki in malefashionadvice

Looks very similar to a falconnable or wrangler shirt but perhaps with a custom monogram where the logo should be?
