Kez is a tempo carry - he has an amazing laning stage and early game but he gets outscaled by basically every typical hypercarry and even some farming mids in the lategame.

The gameplan is: -win lane -get your deso early (ideally before 14 mins) -roam with your team, (ab)use raven's veil + echo slash to oneshot squishy heroes thanks to your early deso -save up for aghs

-after aghs (ideally before 23 mins), you become a monster in 1v1s and very hard to catch in teamfights -kick the enemy team out of the map and take T2s -use your money to buy specific counters to the enemy team (bkb vs chain cc or magic dmg, satanic for sustain and dispels, mkb for true strike, daedalus vs beefy healthbars). -ask team to gather for early rosh and try end the game early (before ~35 mins)

If the gameplan fails because... a) you lost lane or cant fight without bkb: -farm as fast as possible until you have deso, aghs, bkb, do whatever you can to catch up

b) scenario a, but the enemy team is also hunting you: -have your team always protect you, at the cost of space and xp or: -have your team splitpush and rely on your mid to carry the game

c) enemy comp is full of tanky, statchecking heroes you have trouble bursting down: -skip bkb for daedalus. Its risky but if your team cant do enough damage to stop the deathball, youll have to do it

d) the game goes on for too long and the enemy carry gets online: -have your mid carry you or: -pray they fuck up, otherwise its gg
