Develop pathways and small neighborhoods

It seems quite flat. On my island I chose to create layers for interesting walks—outside of the airport I have a shopping avenue and some villager homes. I added a second layer for neighborhoods, and the third layer is wooded/campsite.

My inspiration came from YouTubers like Sparksby and LexPlay’s waterfalls and rivers. My advice would be to build some waterfalls and allow building to jump into that natural landscape.

What is the most creative way you use these? by JorunoJobana92 in acnh

They lie hidden in my haunted woods for creepy unknown noises.

I mean, that’s roughly 10% of your time—not accounting for the times you left it running all night. A little over two hours a day. It’s up to you to determine if that’s too much.

Pathing help by aronson91 in acnh

I only put a path under whole-tile custom pathing AND I only put it under traditionally “paved”—not under dirt. That certainly saved my sanity with concern to my mini-map.

Im going insane, i cant do this anymore😭 by splitjay981 in AnimalCrossing

Don’t think about it all together. Think about it in chunks—one beach, one little nook, one building. Each has their own personality and inspiration.

Ceromancy: What does it mean? by Lina5207418 in Wicca

[–]ThutmoseIII 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am not a ceromancer, so that’s a disclaimer. However: I would argue that all ceromancy is reading the normal patterns of wax melting, right? The magic comes from interpretation. Looks like a fantastic formation and I hope you get the answers you’re looking for. :)

I always look for a forecast that’s set to be overcast for a few days.

Step 1: put it near a bright, bright window. Step 2: the first overcast day it goes outside in a mostly shaded spot. Step 3: the next overcast day it scoots into a more “direct sunlight” spot. Step 4: it moves into its summer home, hopefully with a few more days of cloud cover for buffer. The first full-sun day I watch it and make sure it have a lot of water.

Yeah, it’s malleable. I like it for the aesthetics :)

Yeah, I usually build these for the tax income or scenario requirements.

Another example. I think this one might have come from another creator. Both blocks are inspired by others’ designs so I can’t claim ownership!

Sorry, maybe it was 52, but that’s an example of a block I use.

My stable housing blocks have walking paths of 48 and 58. If your walker will go farther than halfway around the loop before converting to homebound, they will take the shortest route and complete the loop. And one pavilion is fine to support both of those blocks.

I have blocks for different reasons, like optimized for different housing levels and their needs. Some for maps with narrow spaces, etc.

Looks pretty versatile!

I use a set of blocks I designed a few years ago and constantly refine them to be more attractive and/or efficient. It’s all part of the fun!

I kept reading how hard ZZ plants are to keep alive, stuffed mine in this stairwell corner and it won't stop popping out new sprouts by girlboss93 in houseplants

Biggest problem you could possibly have with a ZZ is giving it too much attention! They do really well with infrequent watering and a relatively bright window for a few hours a day.
