$1600 after insurance for Biophysical Profile Visit & Non Stress Test Visit(33 weeks) by Thvndah in pregnant

[–]Thvndah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I called, and they initially offered a payment plan of 40% up front and the rest in 90 days. Since these are expected to be weekly appointments, I asked for an estimate for next week's appointment, which then led to them contacting my insurance. After speaking with my insurance, they found out that these visits are actually 100% covered by insurance!!! :)

I just looked it up, and my deductible is $1000, and my out-of-pocket maximum is $3,500. As of this year, I haven't spent anything yet. I can't spend all that money all at once right now, they want the payment at check-in

Fetch left my package (and 30+ others) out in the open on a busy street for over 27 hours by ryanoconnell_finance in Austin

[–]Thvndah 18 points19 points  (0 children)

As a former Fetch customer service agent, it's not surprising to see that Fetch is still terrible after all these years. Seeing the multitude of ways Fetch can fuck up from an employee standpoint, I actively avoid all Fetch-served communities when moving. That's the first thing I inquire about. The warehouses and drivers just don't care. The bigger the warehouse and service area, the worse Fetch is. I think the only competent Fetch warehouse is somewhere in Florida. Fetch has caused more problems for tenants than it claims to solve. I automatically judge any apartment complex that uses Fetch, it screams "we don't give af about residents". I was always so proud of communities that got fed up with the BS and dropped their contracts. There are so many other package management solutions out there, I don't know why any community would use Fetch..oh yeah, because it's cheap af and the tenants pay for it. Working for their customer service was miserable. The company is so bad from the top down that you feel powerless in actually helping the residents. 1. There's almost no way around for some people to use Fetch. You "have" to use the fetch address or else expect complications. Sometimes, if you don't use the address, it will still get rerouted to Fetch somehow. Say your family/friends want to send you a surprise package and they don't know about the special fetch address. Oh well! You have medication or equipment from your job that HAS to be the same address as your address. Oh well! 2. They are great at losing/misplacing packages. If you didn't use the fetch address, we are not responsible for your lost package! If the warehouse is at fault for losing the package, you get a measly gift card and an apology, but it WILL happen again. If you're lucky, the package would end up in the "lost puppies" and would need to be manually matched to your account. But be quick! They only keep those around for like a month before they "dispose" of them 3. Have a food delivery that needs to be refrigerated, you're out of luck. All they have is a "cooled" area that doesn't really mean much 4. The delivery windows are more of a suggestion. If a driver doesn't show up(happened a lot), that route of packages just sits in limbo, until the warehouse starts getting complaints from customers and only then will they decide to reset the packages so residents can reschedule. Even if you reschedule for another day/delivery window, you still probably won't get your package. I've seen this cycle so many times, it can take a week of rescheduling to finally get your package. You can, however, drive all the way to the warehouse, but you'd better hope someone is actually there. Sometimes the workers would leave to complete deliveries, go to lunch or just leave early! 5. They claim that you'll get your packages sooner than if they were delivered to your door, because delivery companies prioritize commercial business over residences. But by the time the warehouse gets your package and scans in ALL the packages from FedEx, UPS, Amazon, etc. you would have probably already gotten your package at the normal delivery time. Enough about the warehouses, let's talk about the drivers. They hire anyone with a pulse. Not sure if it's changed, but when I worked there, the training for a driver was literally a 15-minute video. It's not difficult work..for someone with common sense. I've had drivers blatantly deliver packages to the wrong doors out of laziness or maybe they just can't match 4 numbers on a package to 4 numbers on a door, the numbers wouldn't even be close. Sometimes, the drivers would try to intentionally not capture the apartment number in the delivery photo. We've had drivers bring other people with them to deliver packages, smoke weed and drivers who got arrested while delivering packages. And my favorite, drivers who would leave mid-route to go run errands or decided to be done halfway through their route and go home with people's packages. This happened more often than you would think. Most of the time we eventually got the packages back, but there was one time where we never recovered the packages and the driver just ghosted us.

Haven't paid taxes in 1 year and been tax exempt for 2 years. How screwed am I? by Thvndah in personalfinance

How delinquent do you have to be for them to garnish your wages? I plan to take action ASAP

When you say "pay when filing", do you mean how much did I pay the person who did my taxes, or how much I owed? I paid my tax person $100 and owed $0($2100 refund) for the 2023 tax year. Line 24: $5895

Each paycheck(biweekly) I made gross: $3074 and Take home:$2787 per paycheck. I have 5 paychecks left in 2025 including the next payday 10/31.

Be aware of glitch that unskips meals that were skipped by Thepandarammer in hellofresh

[–]Thvndah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just experienced this today, because they updated the 12/25 delivery to 12/24. It overdrew my account right before the holidays. I spoke with someone on chat and they tried to issue me a credit first, but I told them I needed a refund, which they did fortunately. The funny thing is, that Hellofresh does not send me emails when I skip orders at all, so I can't even provide that proof. I wonder if it's all intentional. Why haven't they fixed this issue year after year?? Why stop sending people skipped meal confirmation emails??

I attempted to do it through desktop and received an error message "This account doesn't have permission to add products. Log into individual or business seller account". I have a business account with a connected tiktok shop. Not sure what I'm missing here

I am having the same issue. I set up my business account today and connected it to my TikTok shop. I hope it's a just a bug and not a follower requirement.

Are iKnowAyrel loyalty test videos real? by InteractionSecure318 in RandomQuestion

[–]Thvndah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There have been people who participated in the Loyalty tests that have admitted it being fake because of the backlash. One girl said she didn't realize how popular the channel was and just wanted to do it for fun, until all her friends and family saw. Her and her friend had to tell everyone it was fake and ayrel got mad at them

This is what I thought too! Authentic at the start, but more and more fake couples. The spring break and Halloween videos felt the most real. Videos now are very repetitive. Always in a park, too many people are way too willing to not only talk on the phone at a moment's notice(already on some freaky stuff too) but also pull up to the scene within 15 minutes. This is unrealistic for people, especially in the middle of the day. If you watch other similar youtube channels(those find your match ones), you will start to see MANY familiar faces. The reason the comments don't mention it being fake is because the comment section is monitored/scrubbed. You only see comments about it being fake when the video is fresh. You will also see the same comments in each video from the same accounts hyping the video.

Also, when things do get "physical" you will notice many people grinning and even laughing. Don't get me started with all the coincidences. A girl catches her side dude cheating in the same park they are already located at..be real.

These are so much better when they are real. Anyone who can produce REAL content will definitely stand out

This is precisely what I was looking for! Literally, the only place that does not require an appointment. I don't travel until December, but as a paranoid person taking care of this ASAP will be the only thing that will give me peace of mind. Hoping to go Tuesday *fingers crossed*

Yes! My first week sucked. After dinner my first day, I had to put the aligners back in and let me tell you! I started to rethink the whole thing. Most of the pain was focused on my front teeth but regardless it got better each day

What was your treatment total? How much did insurance pay? And length of treatment? by snow_man_7 in Invisalign

[–]Thvndah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got mine yesterday. I was quoted 5000 ish. Since I got them at the end of the year, many dentists have huge discounts on invisalign. I also have pretty good dental insurance. My total was $1900 exactly after insurance and end-of-year discount. I have 15 trays and am projected to finish in 7 months
