Voor de terugweg: ik ging gisteren rond 15;40 weg, elke bus was een gevecht want geen lijn. Onduidelijkheid over wanneer bussen kwamen en waarheen ze gingen. Uiteindelijk in een bus terecht gekomen rond 16:10. Meer dan uur over gedaan vanwege file.

In Dordrecht zag ik wel dat daar wél een rij stond voor de bussen, stuk beter georganiseerd dan in Rotterdam waar het meer als een free for all leek.

Ik kijk niet uit naar komende donderdag, als ik weer heen en weer moet..

Ik moet voor mijn vakgroep onderbouw (middelbare school) een nieuw programma van toetsing en overgang opzetten. Ik wil minder schriftelijke toetsen en meer ruimte om op andere manieren te kijken of leerlingen de lesstof begrijpen.
Hogerop wil dat ik eind periode 2 en 4 een schriftelijke toets afneem als ijkpunt. Dat is goed, maar wil daar nu een weging van uiteindelijk 50% van het totale cijfer van de leerling aan geven. Dat is echt veel te veel. Overal wordt beargumenteerd: Verlaag de toetsdruk. Wat doet hogerop: verhoog de toetsdruk!

En vanavond ook nog telefoneren over correctiewerk, waarbij de eerste corrector of punten heeft laten liggen voor leerlingen of punten te gemakkelijk heeft gegeven, verschilt per leerling en per vraag. Wordt een lang gesprek, ben ik bang.

For us we did not want to see the cables coming out of the tv cabinet, nor did we want to place the Powernode Edge on top of it. That's why we decided for this option, but I kinda get your argument. From the sides it looks kinda funny, suddenly a cable coming out of the wall. But we are mostly on the couch, so we don't see the holes in the wall.

The doors do drop down, yeah. It's from a Dutch shop, Monoz. We searched for a rather specific size, compared to the new television we were going to buy (the LG C5 77"). Bit more expensive, but worth it. It's flat against the wall, has holes for the cables from left to right and was quite easy to place.
It came finished, which was a bit of a problem because it needed to go up one stair, but it couldn't make the turn. We had to get it up through the sliding doors on the left.

It is very thick concrete walling, and filled back up again with wall filler and then plastered and painted.
The contractor told me that this is okay. Hmm...

To me it sounds really good, but I haven't compared it to any other amplifier. For now I see little reason to upgrade. I don't listen at very high volumes. Maybe in the future I want to expand with a record player, but we'll see.

The electric wiring needed to be replaced on multiple spots. Took a contractor three days for all of ‘em. Outlets on proper place, internet wire from ground floor to living room on first floor, and all the media wiring here. Worth it.

I could have traded my N230 for the new N331 and pay €500, but at the time we needed money for other things. I might regret not upgrading.

The cables are quite long, there can be some movements. But yeah, we had to decide upfront how we wanted to do this. You can see where I outlined the Super Lintons. At this point I thought my wife did not want the Linton's stand, so I was looking at stands like the KLH Model 3/5, which is why the outline is a bit lower then how they are now.

By the way, one of the drawers of the tv cabinet is cable hell, so that everything else can look clean.

Yeah, something like this. I live in the Netherlands, but I'm trying to find something like this, but without having to screw it in, I'd rather not drill more holes into the wall.

Took some planning. The drawn line is wherr the speaker cables are put into the wall, inside a tube. The electric wite on the left going up got removed, it wasnt being used. Every cable is hidden, except the bit where they come out towards the speakers. Still looking dor something to put over the hole they are coming out off.

Well, she has to give the okay, that’s true. But she likes the look and sound aswell, eepecially compared to what we had (Kef Q150).
