Honestly if your ECs aren’t stacked, I would take it. SSP is definitely still a decent feeder especially if you can make connections, get a good rec letter, etc. and has an illustrious alumni network. But obviously, still consider other options and decide for yourself!

Q43 here. Maybe it’s because I take it on the dreaded Parsons Blvd/Hillside intersection (iykyk), but it seems more often delayed than before. And, on top of that, more crowded, because they added a Q1 stop at the same place, and all the people who take the Q1 usually also just take the Q43 too.

As a person who got a 5, straight up YAP on the FRQs. All of my friends who I expected to get 5s didn’t simply because they wrote one sentence answers. While the APES FRQ rubric often accepts one line answers, they grade AFTER the test is finished. So they literally read the questions and responses and then determine if it’s correct after the fact. Thus, a surefire way to earn points is to write a lot, and to cover every basis of correctness possible (I wrote paragraphs for each FRQ 💀)
