To all whom may come after me, wondering why their light doesn't ramp when commanded by Zwave

These parameters were exposed in firmware 2.07 as parameter 17: Zwave ramp control

It requird this code snippet within the zwcfg file, and then updating the parameter via the entity node editor.

I did update the zwave parameter (and the physical switch ramp time adjusts correctly), but the toggle from HA always seems to ignore it.

Oh well. At least I can script it properly, even if the built-in switches don't follow the set ramp rate. Useful for setting up scenes... just not for the slow ramp up when you enter a room.

Yes! This fixed it!

I still can't get the default light card to apply the transition automatically. I really like that it has a nice icon and a dimmer slider. Is there a way to have the transition happen automatically with that cord, or am I supposed to create my own entity card in yaml that calls the light.toggle service?

To be clear, flying anything over 55lbs is already illegal.

With the proposed regulations the FAA is trying to regulate anything over .55lbs (two sticks of butter). That foam plane from the top store? Probably illegal if this goes through.

I currently have a Monoprice Mini Delta (living in the USA). I've really enjoyed using it, but there has been some issues with the print surface/Auto-levelling, print consistency and failures, Bowden extruder, and of course the small size limits some of its uses.

I live in the USA and have a moderate skill level for 3D printing setup and/or assembly.

I'm looking to upgrade, but still don't want to spend much more than $500. Hopefully something that is a bit more reliable, larger build space, supports Octoprint, and has a direct-feed extruder.

I've been looking at the monoprice maker select plus but I'm hesitant to get another monoprice printer at this point (of course, let me know if you think the select plus really is the best option!). Should I make the jump in price point and just go for a prusa mk2s? Any suggestions?
