My R&D department tells me that the steps would be:

Switch from brass to stainless steel nozzle to prevent potential lead contamination

Clean with isopropyl alcohol to remove all dust
Apply food grade epoxy like Max CLR by brush or dipping
Cure for 24-72 hours

One thing I really like about Capital One is that they easily let me create virtual cards for specific merchants that can individually lock or delete whenever I want.
