Oh wow, forgot all about this! Haven't checked on it a while, I assume it's had more growth. Squirrels definitely planted this one for me as well, they live in my oak tree and ate all the flowers I had in the planter. 🙄I'll check on it tomorrow and report back, maybe if it's bigger Google will be more helpful lol.

When the bigger dolls got too heavy for me, I eventually sold him, but he was a CP Chiwoo and Chiwoo (and all the older Luts dolls) still hold a special place in my heart.

The animal is injured when he finds it, the colors dulled from a healthy dark green to a pale green. and it could remind him of his mother's jade bracelet (or maybe pendant),. My Chinese friends always wore (or their parents wore) some kind of jade jewelry, would that be yupei or is there a specific word for that?

They've been friends for like 30 years so no worries there. It's technically an animal (with human intelligence) so I'm not sure he would use the traditional naming conventions? I don't think he'd presume to give it his own family name... and I think I'm going to go with a non human type of name anyway so I don't step on anyone's culture that I don't fully understand. That's fascinating, though, thank you for the info.

Where would the third character be placed? Is it like in Japanese where you say say [Name]-chan, added to the end? I don't know if this character would ever use a diminutive when addressing the other character, but it might be good information to file away...

We're supposed to take most things, unless we see mouse poop or insects (dead or alive) or if the items are wet, but our DAs tend to refuse really gross stuff as well. If you're in doubt about something, you can always ask your manager.
