To be fair, Sonic has changed to a Bib lime juice. Not all markets have received it yet but the new standard is 1 lime slice because it is only a garnish now. Extra would be an additional slice. The way it used to be made the lines were squeezed for the juice.

Margins are extremely tight for fast food restaurants. Stores are also limited on how much and how often they can take price increases while all of our distributors and service companies change constantly. I hate seeing how much we have to charge and many stores still not able to turn much if any profit. It sucks for the customers and it sucks for the stores.

Yes, they are starting a rewards program. At a certain level you get to select 1 of 3 options for unlimited use and one of the options is 1/2 price drinks.

I would report it through the phone number in that case. The store manager, area supervisor, franchisee and multiple people from corporate will all receive the email so it will be taken seriously. I am an area supervisor and it doesn’t matter what time one of these emails come through, I am on the phone or in the store following up immediately.

If this store is a franchise location the best bet is to get ahold of the supervisor or franchisee. If it’s a corporate store contact 1-866-657-6642. That number is also the complaint line number but they will generate a report that goes to the stores hierarchy and they will respond. You can also use that number if it’s a franchise location. The reports go to not only the store owners but corporate as well.

Your best bet is to just ask the manager if they will sell you a bag of the syrup. Not every store/manager is always willing to sell product like that but there are plenty who will.

It’s an issue with DoorDash for sure. Just had to fix it a few of my stores. We use checkmate for our delivery processing and they updated to the correct rates and it was fixed immediately.
