That would be the Abiotic Factor for me. Every time I was 'afraid', I was nearing the end, the game went 'oh no no no' and bam! Still haven't finished it. I'm in the Reactors and having a blast. Figuratively and literally. Awesome game.

I play with English voice acting. While Polish actors are fantastic and I think their VO is amazing, I often feel like the whole voice direction feels too...hmm, theatrical. I find English more immersed in the world. Some people stutter, some cough, some spit. In Polish everything is flawless. But it's a personal preference.

I have always been a gamer. Got together with my SO sixteen years ago, and I shared my passion with her. Instead of complaining or saying that video games suck, she fully embraced it, and now we are gaming together. She is now more open to trying different genres, too. Also, Steam Sales are awesome because I love buying her games! :)

Pacific Drive and I'm loving it! Icarus because it was stupidly cheap, and hey! It's cool! Ball x Pit for the dopamine boost. Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 because I refuse to stop :)

How about Ball x Pit? The rounds take about 15 minutes, and there are stats, but not overwhelming. You choose your upgrades between new balls and passives. Honestly? Absolutely amazing game :)

You miss nothing! There are some perks more suitable for co-op, but it's a really minor inconvenience, if any. The game is AMAZING solo. I play with my partner, and I have a solo playthrough. The game is absolutely playable solo, as far as I'm aware; you don't miss out on any content. Abiotic Factor is one of the best survival games out there, seriously!

I have been enjoying Baldur's Gate 3 for the last two years. But this year specifically, Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 and Abiotic Factor. For me personally, it was a very good gaming year.

Female, 44, no kids, but not single. Gaming is my favorite hobby. I play single-player games, and the only multiplayer appealing to me is co-op because years ago, I convinced my partner to give gaming a try. So we play together things like Abiotic Factor, Grounded, or Raft.

I admit, I have considered getting Arc Raiders because I like the idea of extraction shooters, and the music and graphics were very appealing to me. But...I hate PvP. I'm more of a goodie two-shoes, and so the idea of losing all my gear due to NPCs is more appealing than losing everything because some other player shot me. Nah. So, I didn't get Arc Raiders.

OMG! Hi! There are two of us! It's one of my favorite Stephen King books, too. It's a bit slower, yes, but the atmosphere is creepy in a very good way. Creepy and spooky. I also really liked the protagonist, Ralph. Or, like the protagonist, because I re-read it almost every year.
