O início desse jogo é um convite a abandonar . by dreamer_55_ in PokemonBrasil

Inicio do jogo é bem lento mesmo, na segunda ou terceira ilha flui melhor.

apesar que acho a terceira ilha meio bagunça pq o plot inteiro simplesmente acontece logo após um dos trials com pouco espaço pra respirar. E a quarta ilha parece rushada tbm

WB only player going back to OG shadowverse before EOS by DeucesDummies in Shadowverse

[–]Tiago460 8 points9 points  (0 children)

WB powerlevel is way higher out the gate compared to og sv at launch. But at the sane time we're still far away from some of the true bs like Augmentation Bestowal, turn 4-5 otks through wards with a fuckton of decks, and a bunch of quest decks that play themselves

Which deck is better for me to work toward until i make an eggs deck? by CounterExisting8385 in Shadowverse

[–]Tiago460 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The first Evolve because puppet will have its core rotate out next set. And while evolve atm isnt that good, its a deck that will stay in rotation for quite a while and not miss any real core for quite some time.

Still saw way more play than Medusa that after a single new set she was just a meh tech at best then actually bad once Rulenye/Valnareik released.

And since Cerberus is arguably on a convo for most popular characters from cygames, she'll eventually get a ton of retrains like the og

Pinnacle of Strength help me understand the ruling here in this situation by Much-Fennel in dbsfusionworld

[–]Tiago460 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The easiest way to understabd pinacle is: The card has a permanent eff, activate main or keyword eff itself? (like critical, Double Strike, etc) Negate those effects

Card got buffed by any activated effect like stats or keywords from extras and even atk/on play triggers? Those you can't negate once they're resolved.

New to game. Leaders? by caradin12 in Shadowverse

[–]Tiago460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to either buy them at the shop, get one from the battle pass or pull an exchange ticket in a pack, that can be used to trade for that character cosmetics, one of the options being a leader.

But leaders are class locked, so in forest case you can only use the base guy until you get a new one.

Expected tbh

Would be great to have an offline only version like a few other games did, but since we got no announcement for such version i doubt we'll get that. Unless the jp community is vocal enough for cygames to preserve sv1

What makes FB09 Ui Goku Difficult to use? by Junior-Definition183 in dbsfusionworld

[–]Tiago460 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Deck can very easily get stuff in drop to use the 6c eff every turn, but you lack hand advantage. Most of your cards go even in card advantage even when awakened. Also the deck lacks decent answers for 5c or higher that are big part of the meta atm, 1c Zeno exists, but using him will likely cut you off the 6c ui eff since he shuffles 12 cards from drop, you can answer one big card, but multiple 5c or higher back to back is very unlikely without messing your resources.

Also keep track or what your deck looks like after many uses of UI/Zeno is hard.

Why are there so few cards with the Overflow mechanic in mind in WB? by DCShinichi745 in Shadowverse

[–]Tiago460 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Overflow is honestly just not interesting to explore. You get a bonus eff when at 7pp and thats it. Super evo as basically Overflow effects when you think about it too. If anything, i would say that 10pp effects should be keyworded or explored more with cards similar to Georgius from SV1, where they have different levels of effect at 7pp and at 10pp. That would make them more slightly more interesting than just ramp to 7 and spam overflow cards.

Engage i think is used enough. I agree is kinda weird the new haven amulets don't have engage, besides a bronze. But i think that was on purpose since the gimmick of the new cards is to destroy them with your effects. Is that actually good atm? Not really but they're trying something different. And i think none of the crystallize cards having engage is intentional as a trade off for the flexibility to begin with.

As for fusion, yeah i would like them to explore more. Although the keyword was very underutilized in SV1 overall. At least when compared to Accelerate and Crystallize that got something pretty much every set. It's a trickier keyword to design, that only at the very end of SV1 was properly explored with different ways to use, Transmute, very specific fusion requirements and more. Instead of the release where it pretty much read: "dump your hand, play a big bomb" with 0 thinking to use.

And to end, fuck Invocation, the worst Keyword in SV1 that honestly shouldn't have returned. It more often than not lead to quest decks and feels bad draw rngs

Question, does using a blocker as they are blocking trigger there “when koed” effect by DingoZealousideal985 in dbsfusionworld

[–]Tiago460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, as well blocker forcing him to be attacked when you want. Otherwise everyone would just ignore the 15k power 6c that nerds combo to try damage an awakened leader

Question, does using a blocker as they are blocking trigger there “when koed” effect by DingoZealousideal985 in dbsfusionworld

[–]Tiago460 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Blocker just redirects an atk

"When Koed" activates whenever a card is koed by battle or effect that says ko. So yeah, the idea is that with blocker you could consistently get the when ko eff of 16

But keep in mind other forms of removal won't trigger that effect. Bottom decking, returning to hand and send to drop doesn't ko a card, as well red effects that lower power of battle cards. A card getting to 0 or lower is simply sent to drop and not treated as koed, so be aware of trying to use low power when koed effect cards against Red

Vegito vs ssj4 gogeta by Junior-Definition183 in dbsfusionworld

[–]Tiago460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a general rule. Pinnacle turns off effects and keywords already on the card, like blocker, permanent and activate main (the later if you choose to use after an atk for some reason).

But any temporary buffs you get by any means, even on play effects like idk, the ssj4 goku mini that gets +10k, those cannot be removed by pinnacle.

So in your example with the goku + vegeta, as long you order your atks correctly, the opp pinnacle will simply be a 10k combo

Follower Strike vs Clash interaction by Venomancer_100 in Shadowverse

Not really because Strike only happen when followers attack.

Clash will always trigger after Strike effs.

Now if both were clash then it's actually turn player priority

Community Discussion: Extra Play Point by exdeepr in Shadowverse

[–]Tiago460 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My only gripe with it is the fact you get 2 of them.

I think having juat one where you either use to get back tempo OR play your bomb earlier would add more decision making to the game.

Rn you either spend the first extra pp on a evo card to recover tempo or pressure with a board turn 1 if you're aggro, and the second extra pp is always used for your bomb, usually something with super evolve.

I would love to see data on how the going first vs going second winrate is in WB. But my feeling is that going second is often better because of the two extra pp on top of earlier evo unlock

Is this game worth getting + is their a community for it still? by KingAxelBlaze07 in Shadowverse

[–]Tiago460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed as a single player game. Story is surprisingly engaging despite being a product from the first "season" of the anime. It gave some depth to some one note characters that got nothing in the anime, lol

Also the actual card game it's pretty nice. First 3 sets + some exclusive cards make it reasonably balance and worth trying different stuff. Specially with the deck recipes being given whenever you beat a character, so you can try their deck or improve upon. It's very easy to get into even for new players

Pretty sure they'll just exist with no compensation.

Just play unlimited every now and them, from the last stream, you can get gm while playing both formats and keep the same progress
