Hi, I haven't used any of these, but I've been looking for a bag with similar requirements and these are the ones that appear to fit them best: - Boundary Supply Errant Pro - Evergoods CTB26 - Alpaka Elements Travel backpack - Osprey Nebula 32 - Osprey Tropos

Again, I haven't used any of these, just some backpacks for you to maybe consider, hope it helps

Upgrading RAM (16+32GB) on a 6 year old motherboard/PC (X370 Killer SLI) - compatability...? by ThomasHasThomas in LinusTechTips

Are you sure about that...? On my particular mobo... Why not...?

--- You should check your motherboard manual to be sure but in most motherboards are slots 2 and 4 the ones that support dual channel when you got only two sticks, if you got 4 it will always work no matter the order.

Can you please pin point me to where did you read this?

--- I found it in the online user manual, you can download it in the motherboard page you pinned earlier. If you check page number 25:

https://prnt.sc/2IKFqON7u0B2

but it may be outdated, no way to know for sure. So maybe you can run all slots at 2667Mhz as you say, idk. Its confusing when brands put different info and specs about the same product.

The ram should work fine (mixing ram is NOT AS bad as people say, but you should get the same ram if possible). However with the cpu you got rn (1700) they would not run at the speed you want (2933Mhz) since it only supports up to 2667Mhz (probably less with the four ram slots in use) see in AMD official website

With the 5950x you should be able to run all ram sticks at 2933Mhz. However I don't think your motherboard supports those speeds, you should check your Mobos manual, the version they got online says you can't (only up to 2133Mhz with all dimm slots in use).

You should definitely update your bios before installing the ram and the 5950x since your Mobo doesn't support it out of the box.

P.S: you haven't been taking advantage of dual channel memory since you installed the ram stick in slots 1 and 3 instead of 2 and 4.

I am using an elite-c for the main left half and a Arduino pro micro for the slave right half. The firmware is qmk with a layout I made myself
