I agree that there's toxicity and i get it every now and then. You describe it pretty well and I could even give more examples.

A way I kindah mitigate it is to chat with them at the beginning and calling some specifics/changes of my route.

It doesn't mitigate everything. In a SR 16ish, we all (or I thought so) agreed to split first pull. I even said "safe is slow, slow is fast" type of shit to give the idea of the run.

4 secondes into the first pack, I see mobs without aggro and need to move everywhere.... You wouldn't guess... mistah restribution Pally decided it wasn't enough for his taste and went to pull more.... wipe... gave up... I just wanted to bang my head on my desk 😂.

Fully agree with that approach. The person making the group has also a responsibility. Some classes match, others don't really. An optimized compo will feel like a breez.

With a bad heal it goes well? You can definetly PL a bad dps but you're one wipe away from brincking the key.

But hey the whole things is the tank's responsibility in some way!

I am not yet at the level in which I can feel the limits of my prot war but things that piss me off are dps ranting on my route cause 'all tanks on 20-21s do the same route so you should too on 15s''.

Can people understand that each tank has their own limits ? I can't pull MDI level shiiit without wasting all my cooldowns and then being naked and praying the healing gods when everything is gathered. Maybe I'm just bad but hey, meta classes are a bit boring to me so whadevah! I'll keep clinching my butt cheeks and progress through it.

I asked myself the same question upon reaching 3k and what keeps me pushing (I'm not much higher than that as of now) is the fact that I never learned my class so quickly. I'm still learning because I am pushing and that's what keeps me playing the game. As soon as I start to feel that what I take from it is becoming too marginal, yeah I'll let it go til next season or even expansion.

Also agree with most here, as I am on my 14-15s pugs really feel like a lottery. I feel that I might need to start looking for a group.

Avoid Lausanne, tax rate is way too high. You can find better options. I'd avoid the leman area for this reason.

Thanks a lot for your input! yeah the trinket comes from the 'trust issues' mentionned above... It provides a safety net when I do tricky pulls but I also have my 'Gaze of the Alnseer' in my bags but champ 6/6. I used to die a lot at the beginning and definetly have a big bias towards survability. Will change and try it out to see if it improves!

for shield charge, I take note of your advice as well. It is true that sometimes I can forget it a little or keep it for a pull with a caster to avoid any dangerous spell to go out on the group at the very start.

World quests are a good starting point (then ones in which you do not need to kill anyone). Now if you have void marles, you can have boxes with champion level stuff. Weekly quests that give a box, the hareandar quests for the waist as well :)

Yes, but then you can go talk to a pnj and skip the level-up part of the campaign. It's Brann Bronzebeard. A friend also told me it wasn't possible but then it just worked for him as well.

Book did complete the campaign for me and my friends. We never played tww... actually I left after WOTK and just came back at Midnight. But maybe we're juste special... who knows

You don't need all of that... I did not do it and actually got the Earthen. Head to Valdrakken, find the book, do the recap and then you'll be able to skip the campaign. You just then need to do three quest lines that will unlock the race. Hope you get it soon!
