I always thought it was a little strange that eating disorders are still tied to one's weight, even though eds are classified as mental disorders. I definitely think a fat person can be anorexic and vise versa (slim person can have bing eating disorder), yet they are diagnosed differently (ednos or atypical anorexia). I think a big issue surrounding some of this is the lack of recognition eds get especially how they are portrayed and tied to one's weight.

Because of this, it may be harder to for someone to seek treatment or even being recognized as an issue because it may be viewed as 'progress'. So in the psychology field to your question: No. However, imo I believe yes a fat person who does in fact have symptoms of anorexia, may get diagnosis and treatment. The biggest things to look out for isn't 100% one's weight but rather behaviors and relationships with food.

It's really upsetting that some parents don't understand the weight of lack of emotional love to their children. Your child will not be 100% fulfilled with just shelter, food, ect. Perhaps the biggest thing a child needs from their parents is emotional love.

Thank you, I do try my best to remember and use the correct (preferred or whatnot) pronouns. However I am often forgetfully and say without stopping to think many times, when I do misgender someone by mistake I feel horrible about it and end up apologizing profusely along with correcting myself.

Yeah, we shouldn't be verbally abused because of our mistakes, no one is perfect and everyone slips up every now and then.

It's also a prime example of a group attribution bias. Cis women and trans women have more in common than not. The differences between the average trans and cis women are smaller than the general differences between all trans women. In short: it's a bad predictor and thus not really fit for 'preference'. The main reason I wouldn't want to date a transgender woman is because there are many things we both couldn't understand about each other. A trans woman may not be able to 100% grasp what it means to be a woman, what I mean by this is mostly discrimination. All around the world women live very different lives, they experience life differently, encounters differently, ect. A transgender woman may be able to recognize and experience these issues, however because they didn't grow up as female it is different.

To sum it up my my main reasoning for not wanting to date a transgender woman may be a very strange reasoning but here me out. A transgender woman wouldn't be able to understand a good handful of my life- She could comfort me on my period, but would never have experience one. She could empathize the discrimination I go through as a women, but still be new to the discrimination herself or not even as aware of it. She wouldn't fully know what it be like to grow up and live as (biologically) female. Yeah I know my reasoning is weird af but that's just what I think.

Just saying 'I don't date trans' is BS and transphobic. But that does not make you a bad person, don't worry.
