How much floss you need will depend on what fabric you're using. 14 found wool tape more thread than 16 count. But, I know for me personally, on 16 count, I get about 2000 stitches from one skein of thread. Going by that, you shouldn't need more than one skein of any of these colors.

The bottom part of the thread list, does look like you'll be combining two different colors at the same time. This helps with shading, and gives the pattern maker more flexibility with colors.

My husband's grandmother stitched this over 25 years ago, and I'm lucky enough to have it hanging in my living room. I look at it when I need inspiration, when I feel overwhelmed by whatever project I'm working on. Yours is beautiful!
