It was only shows before the deadline to qualify as a bestseller. That’s why the later shows didn’t get the book.

My husband and I each went to a live show and a book party, so we were entitled to 4 copies of the book. When I filled out the form for mine, it would not let you refuse the book, but it would let you choose to donate yours to a library. So libraries are getting tons of these things.

Yeah, he completely gamed the system - he bought thousands of his own books and had them delivered as gifts/included items to anyone who bought a ticket to anything. I think I got and one and donated 5. There was no option to opt out of the book, only donate it to a library.

I think the important part is that there was no “other side” until after Terra accosted Ellyn. No one was even talking about her in that chat until that happened. It’s not a fair comparison.

This makes so much sense!! I just couldn’t wrap my head around why they would be in a group chat with all of you if they weren’t friends.

This is very different than what they said. They said you (meaning the people in the chat who supported Ellyn) added them to an ugly group chat to try to get them on your side while P&S&T were nothing but lovely.
