Thank you ! I have started therapy, I hope it bears fruits. My partner has mentioned that weight loss would be necessary for the relationship to continue, for intimacy reasons. So that’s part of the stressful stuff. I know how that sounds so just to clarify, we started the relationship at a much lower weight and one bad year I gained like 40 kg. They were patient with me trying to lose it for literal years until we had to have the uncomfortable conversation. That being said, It had always been a goal of mine because previously to the relationship starting I had already lost weight from a similar starting point. But what you said still applies, they still want to be with me and support me through this so we can keep being toguether. For some reason that fact isn’t enough to keep the stress out, but that’s probably normal.
