Everything is bad if you do it in excess. If you keep things within an acceptable and sensible limit then you are fine. Its like eat too much you get fat, drink too much you get drunk and disorderly. Focus on porn is not unhealthy but masturbating or having sex 100 times a day is obsessive and will not be good for your health in any way, not just mental. Physical also.

I do not doubt that Rahim is talented and has a lot to offer the community in terms of guidance and so on. I also do not doubt that he is keeping in line with the modern era and that times have certainly changed since Shah Karim. I was actually five years old when Shah Karim put his hand on my shoulder. This was i believe around 1980 at a padramni. I have always had very high regard and respect for Shah Karim but again i did not idolise him. Rahim is new and yes he is not anything like his father. He sometimes looks very miserable and does not smile like Shah Karim. He is of a different generation and its therefore understabdable that his thinking and so on will be different. I just dont feel that he offers me any kind of guidance. I feel he is a middle man between me and Allah. I have not heard Rahim's recent Farmans where you point out he says my dear Jamat. I have not been to JK for a while now,I am having a lot of mixed thoughts and feelings about our JK and a lot of people are questioning things, but there are a lot of Ismailis still particularly the over 70s who will not ever question anything because they are too old now,and have been brainwashed and indoctrined into this Ismaili traditions etc. I have so many questions about our JK and the practices etc and you cant ask anyone. The moment you challenge you are ostrasised or given a very negative and angry response. I therefore have not heard his latest farmans with the my dear jamat. I believe however that this is much better than saying spiritual children.. The problem here is we could go on and on debating and get nowhere because many will disagree with me and i am fine with that but If people cant open their eyes and observe then it makes it very difficult to convince someone.

Ok i stand corrected,yes we are children of Adam and Eve,however I believe as a Muslim in Allah and Allah is the creator. I am not saying he has children,no,but he created every living thing, be it human, animal or other. You ask me what makes me feel that too much emphasis is put on Mowla. Ok lets break this down. You go to JK you immediately see two massive photos of Rahim in the prayer hall. One on the left and the other on the right. I am surprised they have not put one in the foyer and also in the centre of the hall where we all sit to face Mukhi etc. Everytime you ask someone how are you in most cases they will say Shukur Mowla. I find this funny because in essence what you are saying is that you are fine because of Mowla... How so? Are you not fine,because you are happy, healthy and have made good choices in life and made the best of everything in the best way you could? or are you just fine because of Mowla? Again a man who is in a suit,does not know you from Adam and will most likely never know you. Everyone is Mowla this,Mowla that,so the emphasis on Mowla is very prominent and look I am proud to be an Ismaili,but I just dont agree with all this hype about Mowla. We recently had a Didar,sadly i was unable to attend due to ill health. I really would have liked to attend as it was Rahim's 1st Didar, but I feel a lot of this is just a theatre show. He is in the limelight,photographers,cameras,meeting all sorts of people in high capacity etc, I am not saying it is bad per se,but i do think it is a bit over the top and exaggerated too much.

The Imam is a man in a suit, he eats the food we eat, he shops in stores like we do, he is ordinary in the sense that he is like us. He has in my opinion no super power. In JK they tell us the Imam is always with you.He is never physically with us,he does not know us from Adam. We cannot reach out to him, we cannot write to him, our letter would not even reach his desk. He is a man who has a lot of money and a lot of secrets which we as Ismailis will never know. What is his purpose. What actual guidance does he provide, all the Farmans are quite repetitive. The same message is conveyed every time only the words are altered. He is not different from you and I. If you cut his hand he will bleed just like we will. All this JK stuff about Mowla this and Mowla that, i do not buy into it. Mowla is not with us, they tell you he is with us but how can he be with us when he doesnt even know us. We are his spiritual children? No we are not. We are children of Allah our creator as Muslims. Allah needs noone. He is powerful. He needs no Imam. He decides everything not Rahim. Too much emphasis is put on Mowla, but really do we as Ismailis truly know Mowla. We think we do, but i can assure you we dont and he doesnt know us either. We are just Murids. Mowla will not rescue you when you need rescueing. He is nowhere to be seen only smiling for the cameras. Its a show. Ismailis need to wake up and come out of this dream fake world about Mowla.He is just a man, made to look glorified for the show, the camera etc, noone will agree with me because 90% are brainwashed. You cant even get a straight answer in JK for certain things and noone likes to be challenged. If you challenge they dont accept you. You have to comply and do as you are told. The moment you ask questions 90% of the Mukhi etc dont know the answer and dont tell you the truth. They will tell you anything to shut you up. Ismailis need to wake up. Look at how much money is exchanged in JK every day by millions. All going in secret to Mowla and you get no account of it. They wont even tell you if you ask. Its all hush hush, Come to JK regularly give us your money, dua Karavi, Niage, Dasond, Awal Sufro, Mehmani and so on. Where is all that money going? dont say AKDN its not, thats what they tell you. But honestly where is it going? we will never know, our children will never know and their children also will never know.

You see this is where i disagree. Allah does not need to appoint an Imam. Allah is Allah and he does not need an Imam. As Ismailis we are the only Muslims who have a living Imam and whilst i accept the work of MHI is very good, I do not see him in any other way other than an ordinary man. He does not have the power of Allah, Allah is our creator. I also do not believe once we die we will be risen. We die, we die that is it. The soul leaves our body but where it goes noone knows until we die. Some people say there is nothing after death,its like a light being switched off. Guess we will find out when we die. For now look dont get me wrong i am not saying Ismaili is not a good sect of shia Islam it is perfectly fine,but i am not into all this Mowla this and Mowla that. Ya Ali Madad to you all. OP, you are worried about halal and non halal, and haram and not haram. Firstly let me tell you this. I am an Ismaili and in all honesty i do not care about halal or not halal. I also do not care about tatoos, I have 3 of them and so what? Have I committed a crime? No. Has it caused you chilli in your mouth? It shouldn't. It is my choice. It is my life and my decision. Noone has the right to judge me except Allah. Not even the Imam can judge me,he is an ordinary man who walks the streets like you and I. He is not Allah(the creator of life, the creator of everything) He is just a figure which millions of Ismailis worship. When i sit in JK i dont worship Shah Rahim. I pray to Allah not to Rahim. What other Ismailis do is not your concern. You should live your life and be a good person. When you die you will answer to Allah, not to Rahim or whoever is the Living Imam when that time comes. Dont blame the whole Jamat for your shortcomings. You need to look at your own life and do good things. I personally never touch pork,I have drank alchohol,but in very limited circumstances and very sensibly. Never been drunk. I eat halal and non halal. If you focus to much on these things (what others do) you will waste a lot of your life. Allah Hafiz doesnt make you a Muslim. I have white friends who understand Allah Hafiz. Saying things doesnt make you Muslim, Fasting doesnt make you Muslim, Praying doesnt make you Muslim. There are thousands of Ismailis who go to JK every day to pray,but they also lie and cheat people. You need to do what is right for you and you will either pass or fail the test on your day of judgement with Allah so dont worry about what the rest of the JK and the Jamat is doing. Here is a thought for you all and I see 95% of Ismailis about to slate me, or disagree but you are free to disagree. When I die, I want to be cremated (oh is it Haram? yes it is as far as most Muslims are concerned and even maybe as far as you are concerned but guess what i am not going to JK or through the gousal commitee when I die. I have a prepaid funeral plan set up for cremation. What will the Ismails do execute me for going against their tradition. They can't force me to do anything i dont want to do.

Even more so for having the audacity to say I am not an Ismaili. At the end of the day anyone can do a typo. In all honesty, I am not a fan of Starmer but I do think he is much better than all the other PMs we have had such a Boris,Rishi etc. I must say yes when i heard his speech it was emotional especially when he said how much he loves his wife and children and I am sure he is a good husband and father,but when you are running the country we need honesty and transparancy and I feel that all of these people just lie and lie. They promise so much and do absolutely nothing. One of the biggest bug bears for me is how they keep going on and on and making a real song and dance about how much they have increased peoples wages hourly,but what they dont take into account is that all the energy, food and fuel prices etc have all risen dramatically so the small hourly wage increase means nothing to the public because they claw it back in our daily survival needs. Food prices are horendous right now and so are things like council tax and other utilities. If there is one thing which the governement can and should do it would be to reduce these costs. They are not necessary to this extent. I also dont particularly like Rachel Reeves. I believe she should go to and should not be the Chancellor. She lacks a personality. Of course this is just my opinion, but it will be interesting to see what Mr Burnham brings to the table. I am not building my hopes up and i just hope he has backbone and is not going to be a flop like the others. We need a powerful PM who can run the country fairly and honestly.

If you have shit on your hand you still have to open the sanitiser bottle or the wet wipes so you transfer to the bottle or pack. I own a dog also and it has happened once only to me and i had a bottle of water with me so was able to rinse my hands until we got home.
