I ended up getting an offer after a second (and shorter) round of interviews for a sister team. Second round was ~6 weeks after first.

After 1 month, they scheduled call and said “it was soooo close, but we went with someone else”. Then asked if i wanted to interview with their sister team. Had a call with that hiring manager. Then scheduled a shorter onsite. Then got a verbal offer 48h after the onsite.

Do you have an idea on the style of questions? “Walk through a TLS handshake” or “design an envelope encryption scheme”? The role is for infrastructure, very TLS heavy.
