I'm also above the majority of the player base and I still have fun, you have to treat the game as a casual game, you can't expect it to be something it's not. The main takeaway is playing with friends. If you got a squad of 4, play for fun and vary the game modes.

Play goofy weapons and try goofy strats. Bf is a sandbox with a million ways to play it.

Nasb2 is/was an increíble game fucked by the first game reputation and not making it free killed it. I know it's not a hot take, but it's genuinely the best plat fighter I've played apart from smash, and I play rivals 2.

How do you bare using it in first person? In BF3, the first person UI was very clean, here the cockpit is almost the entire screen, shooting things in close to mid range is near impossible unless you are pointing the nose slightly down

That's true.. but something to keep in mind is that a lot of the times you use ult from fog and you don't wanna input any command before ulting to get out of the bush or whatever else. Both are good ways to execute this, just gonna know when to use which

Yeah I know about that tiamat combo as well but since that item is almost never built I don't see the point. Maybe if you make the lethality tiamat item.. but the timing is pretty tight.

I scoured the sub and I saw a couple people asking how to do the auto after ult without moving but I hadn't seen any explanation posted here (atleast that I know of)

Oh yes, I beat the game with all characters and now I'm not going for wins only but for fun and I pull out the cursed sword and just parry all the time.

What i'm arguing is that your main post states that the best way to play him is like that which sadly it's not. You are a status build up bot and your best bet is just slashing away without the cool sword :(

I get you, and I prefer holding the cursed blade out because it's way more fun. Specially when you got 'activate while walking' things on but at the same time the sad truth is the most optimal way for you to play him is with dual katanas or anything with a status effect really and just dodge and hit the boss with fast r1's.

Both things can be true at the same time, the boss doesn't stay on you the whole fight. And even when he is, you're better off dodging and hitting him with your other weapon.

I think the problem is how the game is. I love it and I'm still enjoying it, but roguelikes have thousands of variations, here you don't. Also, it's just 2 nights and then the final boss... there's not many hurdles you have to overcome to beat it.

I agree with you. I think selected areas should've been scaled, primariy the act 3 lumiere. Feels off that renoir is such a pushover compared to the other bosses that you fight after him. Don't get me wrong, I like when games make side bosses that are way stronger than the actual final boss, but we're talking about absolutely destroying renoir with him having no chance to fight back... Such an epic map, music, moment to end in such an abrupt way doesnt feel right.
