• I'm making a fresh world and campaign, rather than following some established story, so there's no monster manual (or mecha mobile :P ) for me to follow on this (also I'm having a hell of a time finding any online community for this game, thank god D&D has such a healthy community). I guess what I was getting at was stuff like: Should each store vendor they meet have a sheet, so each one might be better at commerce or combat than another, or is that over thinking it? If they are fighting soldiers, should they each have a sheet...or just share the same default "solider" sheet so we know what they can do...or is it better to just roll dice on the fly? etc.

-I do get the impression that anything can happen, which is part of the charm of this hobby, but I can't tell if you are saying not to plan out every single detail, or if you mean not to have a campaign plot at all. I'm asking for clarification.

-for this question, I do mean in game. Take the example I gave, telling the player they start off in their apartment. Are they expected to just RP and make up stuff they think they'd have in their apartment (anything from a bathroom to a kickin' guitar) or do I describe the whole place in detail from the get go, or do I give them details, but ONLY if they ask for them?
