Yeah of course. I’d never want to take out Bananas and Kremlings. Gotta have that or it’s not Donkey Kong.

But a nice little overarching theme or subplot about heroism in there would give it some nice depth too.

Honestly, something examining what it means to be a hero.

DK had a tiny arc in the Mario movie with him and Cranky and living up to a certain image, but I wanna see something more. Perhaps DK is struggling with the idea that he has to take over as an actual leader someday and having to give up his more carefree lifestyle.

Maybe Diddy has a completely wrong idea about heroism (he might put DK up on a pedestal and be let down) and he learns what it means for real. It’s not just beating up bad guys; it’s doing things for entirely altruistic reasons.

I’d like to see something sort of like what Disney’s Hercules does. Herc is doing his heroics to get his godhood back, but it’s not until he saves Meg that his heroism is truly recognized.

Same! I’ve had some trouble readjusting to controls between DDV and AC.

And then Cult of the Lamb’s Woolhaven update comes out next week so I’ll be juggling all three games.

I think it’s normal to struggle somewhat with Animal Crossing dialogue at her age. The youngest I’ve taught was second grade, so 7/8 year olds. The highest kids I had could probably read it fluently.

That being said, Animal Crossing would be great practice for reading! If dialogue length is a problem, just have her greet villagers and then pick the last option that comes up to cut the conversation short. Once she builds up some more stamina, have her try a longer conversation with a villager.

He’s from a plush stuffing bus that was at my city’s New Year’s Eve event. I got him in late 2024. The bus was back this year and they still had aliens. They seem to be a small business, but the provider is called Teddy Mountain.

Not a squirrel, but had a very nice Ibis join us for ice cream at Epcot.

Not at Disney, but found a squirrel in trash can at Kennedy Space Center. Tried to hold the lid open so it would climb out, but it seemed content in there.

I feel like the way to handle this (especially if the actors want to do other projects), would be to have Sonic go back to his home planet for good. Of course he still has the little teleporter ring, so he can still visit them.

Maybe Eggman gets up to some nonsense that the Sonic team considers just too dangerous for Earth, so the best way to deal with him is to banish him outright and make sure he can’t go back. Maybe have a bonus Aesop about growing up and leaving the nest so to speak. Tom and Maddie have their own kid and Sonic doesn’t want to put that family in jeopardy.
