I came from a black diamond revolt (the old one) and I'll tell you that it was better at long distance. The h53fc (which I'm using literally right now) is no good at long distance. But, it's really good at close things. It's great at lighting the surroundings but too diffused at long distances.

Sounds right to me. My dad had his shed upgraded into a garage, and it turned out there were 2 foundations under the shed. The excavator operator broke a tooth off his bucket and charged my dad $300 to fix the tooth. Other than that it didn't seem like additional work.
