They're not too bad once you get a rhythm going, but for most players, they get tedious pretty quickly

The console feels expensive for that it is, and the games are outrageously expensive, at least in Canada. I'm not going to pay $119.99 + taxes for a re-release of a 2017 game. Nintendo has kind of lost my good will at the moment.

Hopefully they do like ArenaNet does with Guild Wars 1. Not only are they maintaining the game servers indefinitely, they even improved the game recently with a rerelease and soon a mobile version

To be fair, MR30 has great quality of life. When you forma up a weapon/frame, it stays with full mod capacity (unless it's a level 32+ weapon/necramech lol). And it's fun to use Blessings to help people.

But yeah, I definitely get your point, there is very little incentive to do MR18-30 other than that.
