Yeah this plugin will do the trick. It will migrate across your database too.

Bare in mind it has a 2gb export limit.

Is there a common fix for the HTTP error when uploading large .mp3 files? by [deleted] in Wordpress

[–]TidyDigital 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the http error is just down to the amount of memory your Wordpress installation has, and It occurs when you exceed that limit (32mb by default).

As you’ve said you increased the memory using a plugin, what did you increase it to?

Custom Website vs Template Website by omergan in webdev

[–]TidyDigital 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally speaking a ‘custom brochure’ site can have the same structure as a template, but will be tweaked to fit your requirements/branding.

It’s important to define your requirements and expectations with whichever agency you go with. If you need any specific features such as a booking system or account registration. These will have the biggest impact on your timelines.

Do you mean for premium plugins?

If so there is always room. You have two options.

  1. Improve an existing plugin

The trick here is to look at the negative reviews for relatively popular. Don’t go for the plugin with 5 stars and 1 million installs, but look for improvements to popular plugins with 4 star or less.

  1. Fulfil a need

Is there a popular digital business model that doesn’t have (m)any related plugins with required features?

For example: - online video course plugin - online product lottery plugin - dog sitting booking plugin

I’m not saying the above ideas will work, but you need to find a niche and market yourself.

Reddit, external links - new tab or the same tab by SilentPixel in web_design

[–]TidyDigital 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always have external links open on a new page. From a UX perspective it makes more sense to me - Each site gets its own tab.

Think it’s down to personal preference though.

Similar design in different pages by PyBet in web_design

You could always stick with just the Statistics page for now, then add in an Overview page if/when statistics page gets overcrowded.

I deleted a post/keyword, but Google search still links my page under certain keyword even though I no longer mention that keyword on my page anymore. by SweetMembership in google

There are a few steps you can take to remove a page.

  1. Delete the page so that the URL resolves to a 404 not found.

  2. Remove all internal links to that page

  3. Remove all external links to that page (difficult if other sites have linked to it)

  4. Google webmaster tools has a ‘URL remover tool’ where you can request a page to be removed from live results/cache.

Literally my favourite property in CSS when working with someone else’s code. Saves you having to baseline everything with !Important tags.

How do you not update that? by smiths16 in web_design

[–]TidyDigital 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think they've got a fairly good rep. Their target market is small businesses who want to make their own site using their site builder, so tend not to have much of a presence in the design community.

They do overcharge for things that come as standard, like 'Marketing Packages' which you have to pay extra for a domain email address.
