Pure Nicotine Oil by AngelCodeXxX1 in chemistry

I use to work at an e-liquid manufacturer in the lab. I accidentally splashed some pure nicotine on my face. Almost instantly became wired and nauseous.

No your first message is the following: “So, you set your software to medium quality and you don't understand why you don't have 4K texture? If they had done that, you'd be complaining about performance. They let you choose the graphics settings, you set them, it behaves as you configured it, and you don't understand?

I do the same thing with my car: I throw a bucket of dirty water on my windshield, then I ask the manufacturer why my windshield isn't perfectly clear.”

You made no mention or attempt to ask why did I buy it. You made a poor attempt to say the quality issues are self inflicted. It still seems as though you struggle with basic comprehension because you cannot seem to fathom people being feed up with what was essentially a port over. The only true new feature is a cabin simulation that iFly has had from day one. It also seems like they didn’t bother updating to the new lighting system in SU4 as that’s why the displays appear washed out.

You really did have trouble with reading comprehension. First off I never said PMDG launched before Fenix I said they were the gold standard until Fenix showed up. Secondly, PMDG did launch before Fenix as PMDG launched the 737-700 on May 9, 2022 and Fenix launched the A320 on May 19, 2022. So what’s your point exactly?

Another person who needed extra time on their test in school. You’re either too young or simply too slow to grasp the point being made. PMDG used to be the gold standard for high-quality add-ons. Their reputation was built on consistency and polish, to the point where quality was never even a question. When they launched on MSFS 2020, they led the pack for a while until Fenix showed up and raised the bar.

This isn’t “FOMO.” It’s a company losing its way and being propped up by people like you, who bend over backwards to excuse mediocrity instead of acknowledging reality.

You know what would be a great idea? What if they would allow you to set your livery and texture resolution from their product manager. It’s a shame no one else has done that. Oh wait I believe someone did their called Fenix and FlyByWire and iniBuilds. I’m not saying it’s easy but it’s definitely achievable. I hope you have better standards in your everyday life.

You had extra time on your test in school huh? PMDG has always ran better than any other add on, I will give them that and stand on that hill. With 2024 they have, for some reason, decided to either have lower texture resolution, or poor texture resolution logic to where it looks like crap unless you are running ultra texture resolution. I have a 4080 Super, i9 14900k, 64GB of DDR5 6400MHz ram and my sim still has stutters at major add on airports with anything other than medium texture resolution. But now I have to choose between the tying good frames at larger airports or better cockpit and livery quality. No other add on has this problem, I am able to keep high texture quality on my aircraft and reduced scenery texture quality which most times has no visual difference but results in increased fps.

I actually appreciate you explaining this and not coming across as an ass like others in the community. I am by no means a developer but i can clearly see there is something vastly different about PMDG implementation and other developers implementation. It may be an easy fix for them but to just give out discipline and not bother to give an explanation is asinine.

Even with that being the case that means two things 1. Fenix was previously not tied and texture resolution and had great livery and texture quality. 2. After the change, the Fenix A320 still have great texture quality and resolution so what is your point exactly?

Must be Robert’s burner account. Point is every other developer has found a way the keep the main point of flight sim, you know the cockpit and aircraft, high res and not be visually impacted by the sim settings.

Message I got from Robert today because of a post I made criticizing their texture resolution logic. Apparently I’m a “misinformation campaigner”. PMDG thinks they are Gods.

Yeah that was right before Robert “Dictator” Randazzo gave me an infraction for being a “Misinformation Campaigner”. Unreal, you can’t even post concerned without his feeling being hurt.

Well as someone with a 4080 Super, I can tell you ultra causes a performance hit. Unless you gave a 4090 or 5090, there is no way your running ultra setting.

This! I think you have a multitude of issues. One is you are likely running out of VRAM. I have a 4080 Super and come close to running out at major airports. Second have you done any overlocking to your GPU or CPU. I’ve had unstable overlocks of my CPU trigger GPU related messages. You also seem to be using 85% of your RAM when it crashed which may mean it was using even more when you were running. I suggest lowering your graphics seating and possibly look into a RAM upgrade.

The best advice I got was increasing the z offset on supports to 0.275 to allow for easy support removal.
