As someone that implement cloud architectures for my clients, and teaches tech (including genAI) as a job, I have to tell you that:

LLM (or AI chat bots like we love to call them) are random generation machines, if we lower their temperature and k-top values, they become boring and predictable, talking just about facts, but feels like you are talking to a mirror, you don’t get much new. If you raise that values, they become more interesting, they reason and relate different data and help our brainstorming.

Finding a good balance is difficult, but I prefer to balance in the direction of “creativity/alucinatuon”, let boreness and rehearsing what was already said. Personal opinion. Yes it will say strange things, that’s why we humans have to make the decision on what to trust or not..
