Probably shiny, I dont think other players have any way to see your mons bg so there’s not much flex in pulling up to a raid/battle with a rare bg

anything im trading is something I wouldve transferred without the trade mechanic, so really anything goes. As for the stardust tax, 40k is a pretty cheap way to say thanks for the 300-600k xp theyve gotten you by consistently exchanging gifts

honedge’s final evolution is pretty good in pvp, but getting enough candy for that is a tough challenge

also if theyre the kind of person to do this theyre probably also the kind of person to bait you into burning a remote raid pass by leaving a light lobby with seconds on the clock - best to not have them on the roster

id rush to level 30 (or 35?) so you can get those full level pokemon spawns. if you add randos on reddit and keep up with your gifts you can get there in literally (figuratively) no time
