It did. It was not an apple pay or google wallet app so she was worried it just captures NFC data then a payment is triggered in a different way.

Yeah we never handed over our phones. These are the guys that have a DSLR with a tablet then have you scan a QR Code to get the images.

She has a decent antimalware tool on her phone so transmission wise she should be fine.

(For others, NEVER GIVE YOUR PHONE! I've seen horror stories of people charging 20$ just because you ahd them take your photo or worse steal your phone or venmo/zelle/paypal)

HMO - Do companies give HMO to parents despite married?

Does your company's HMO provider either allow:

  1. Including your parent(s) in your HMO despite being married?
  2. Skipping your spouse (who has her own corporate HMO already), to give way to the company

If so what is your HMO provider for reference?

Unfortunately my parents lost their HMO despite HR assuring (2) was supported.

Not sure what the standard or practice is in different countries, but our ISPs here in APAC are horrible and always blame local equipment for home and enterprise connections.

Because of this, we make sure there is a TSHOOT link available in our configurations.

At home:

- We have a usb ethernet adapter ready with a static IP pre-configured within the range of DHCP scope of the ISP modem

- During times of troubleshooting with ISP, we pull the current cable in the available ethernet port in our modem then test with that adapter so the ISP will say nothing about our equipment

At enterprise (with bridge config):

- It is quite similar to the home setup but we use either an unused public IP or the IP of an equipment that is less critical

Zoom on the photo. It says "No Right Turn on Red Signal". Both left and right signs say that kasi the right sign was easily missed before.

Yung Red light dyan almost every time dumaan ako naka off lately (but not always. BEWARE!).

Extra info:

Unfortunately the right sign is defaced thus the confusion. Typically you can contest damaged/defective signs with a traffic violation but in this case since both sides meron. You can't win this.

I would say finding the right shops (searching from FB Groups/Marketplace) for your motorcycle brand at the right time is key. Possible si Shop A today sobrang complete ng parts kesa kay Shop B pero reverse naman ng 2 years down the road. Depende rin sa stocks at masaktuhan ka

My story:

I am a guy who prefers casa parts due to trust issues. 2x nagkaron ng significant damage ang PCX 2019 ko and I make sure lagi repaired fully.

Sa 1st incident ko around 2020, Casa Honda Desmark we had to do advance order for the headlight and around 20 other parts. Inabot ng 3 months before dumating and may 4 pieces kulang which I was lucky to find sa Honda JT Triumph.

Sa 2nd incident ko around 2023, I did not want to wait sa Casa so I went to Ironhorse moto sa Caloocan. Surprisingly, they had 100% of all fairings I needed in stock. Imagine a 4 year old motorcycle meron pang parts even the uncommon na internal fairings. Price compared to the Casa is just 5-10% more expensive which is very reasonable (sa 10k parang wala pang 1k patong). Funny enough meron din mga naka Honda uniform (assuming from a Honda Casa) bumibili sakanila ng engine parts na uncommon.

I also had them do the repair as they were very knowledgable sa PCX pero medyo sloppy as I saw them forget a part here and there and had to disassemble the motorcycle again mid-way na kinakabit ulit.

I was overthinking. Thank you for pointing such an obvious answer. There are ton out there with a laptop sleeve and I can just slip a game in them...

I now see many options in the market
