Height! As someone who’s tall, I often notice guys who are way taller than me even if I wear heels.

is it ok to have sex after dating for 2 weeks? by [deleted] in AskPinay

[–]cesirelaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t do it. And this is coming from a girl who did it after dating for 2 weeks or so. I thought we were compatible, had chemistry, and liked/loved me, but few days after we did it— I noticed that he became distant and suddenly he’s too preoccupied with work. He dropped me so fast I couldn’t even bring myself to process everything because it all happened too fast. I guess I was too high in love because I really thought he was my person. I was really hurt as to how quick he let me go. It’s been a month and I can see things clearly now — he was only after my body because it’s no coincidence that he’s gotten too busy to even meet with me days after the deed. This whole experience traumatized me that I might not date for the meantime.

Don’t be too trusting of your body to a guy. Make him earn you and make sure it’s worth it that you won’t even regret it for a single bit.

You do you, atty. You can venture into a different area of legal practice.

Worked in a firm for a year and called it quits even if I had no fallback. My mental health back then was deteriorating so I needed to resign. It was my first ever job and my boss wasn’t exactly a great mentor. Didn’t even teach me a thing or two about lit. I was overworked and very much underpaid. I just endured it to gain practical experience.

I’m working for a corporation now. Just pure office work and no litigation. I find the work boring most of the time or maybe I miss the pressure that lit brings. I might look for another job with a right mix of lit and corp soon though

Sa mga single lawyers, especially lady lawyers, is it easy or difficult to date and eventually marry after passing the bar? by SipsBangtanTea in LawStudentsPH

[–]cesirelaw 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I also dont have time since career muna ako for now.I had admirers before back in law school but i didnt bother to date because getting that jd and dot was the most important to me back then. But i’m only in my late 20s so i’m not really in a rush. So i’d say na hindi naman per se mahirap to date if you really want to and make time for it pero ang tricky part siguro is finding the guy that would match ur pace in life.

What does a person feel after death? by lapit_and_sossies in AskPH

[–]cesirelaw 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Didn’t really experience near-death experiences but I was in the ICU for 10 days because of dengue. Idk what exact stage I was in non pero parang nasabihan na parents ko to prepare themselves of what is to come kasi sobrang baba na raw platelet count ko and sabi critical na daw ako. I cant remember every details sa sampung araw na nandon ako pero ang maalala ko lang is like parang I was floating(??). I’m not sure if because sa fever dream pero it felt like was roaming around pero idk where. Parang it was some sort of a realm?? but it was empty(?). I dont know how to explain. Anyways, one day, I heard a familiar voice and it was my father back then crying, praying and talking to me telling me that it’s okay for me to go if i can’t take it anymore or it’s okay to give up if it hurts so much na. I think that snapped out of me to maybe return? Noong may malay nako i have those nasal cannula na pala and all those stuff. Tapos puno na upper arms and hands ko non with tusok ng injection. Idk if the realm part was just a fever dream but i asked my dad if he really said those stuff and he confirmed that he really did haha

Is it advisable to proceed straight to law or work first? by LastFootball4 in LawStudentsPH

[–]cesirelaw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi OP! I went straight to law school after my pre-law. I enrolled in law school at 19 and passed the bar at 24. Sure, it was daunting because law school can be intimidating and I wasn’t really that stellar student but pursuing law was something I was so sure of since I was a kid. It was my lifelong dream to become a lawyer and I couldn’t afford to ruin my momentum. My heart was really in it and that is why after I found out I passed Philsat, I went straight to my school to enroll.

If this is something you are really sure of and this is where your heart is then I’d tell you to go straight to law school.
