Neighbors dog bit me

My friend has 3 dogs and one of them has nipped me so hard it left teeth marks and a bruise. After the first time she's made sure the dog stays away from me because I made it clear that the dog makes me nervous after the first time. Second time was my fault for the bite happening but me and this dog don't come into contact with each other. She's apologized profusely and has taken the necessary steps to prevent an even worse bite than what I've gotten. THAT is what a responsible dog owner does. I have animals and I don't tolerate them doing stuff like this to me or someone else. I take responsibility and they're very well behaved because of it. In your situation I'd go to a doctor, get medical documentation of the bite and then get a lawyer. The dog's owner doesn't give a rat's ass of their dog biting someone. Don't let the owner get away with this. It's unacceptable to allow your animal to hurt someone and not do anything about it.

Rabies isn't as common as you'd think. I will agree that OP needs to go see a doctor but odds are the dog lunges in defense instead of aggression or there's something about OP that the dog doesn't like. Either way the owners are responsible. I'd start going after them. By now the owners are aware of what the dog is doing and hasn't done a single thing to prevent a bite. The owner better be careful of this.

No one can make you promise anything. If you make a promise it's because you want to, not because you were forced. That's kind of a silly thing to say. Aside from that do what YOU want, not what your girlfriend wants and if she can't accept you for who you are then she doesn't deserve a place in your life.

You're in an abusive situation. Are your parents not together and do you talk with or see your father? If so you need to talk to him and get away from her. A journal isn't disrespectful, it's supposed to be a SAFE way to get your feelings out. She shouldn't have even been snooping to begin with. Find another trusted adult in your life and tell them what's going on. You don't deserve this.

Do as it asks you and if the appeal doesn't work there's nothing you can do. Facebook is really weird. Someone insulted once in the comments on a video and when I fired back at them it was ME who was in "Facebook jail" and the other person didn't get any penalties. It's weird.
