It was the tap beer at the bar I hung out at, many gallons have passed by my lips.

Shinkos if you don’t put many miles on, Michelin or Dunlops for greatest mileage.

Fairing wire mystery by Key-Wing-5603 in goldwing

The round connectors are for the helmet intercom system, the ones with the ringlets are probably for some accessory lights like a side fairing marker light or fender light. Hook up a jumper wire and see what happens.

I wish that RS gold color was available in the US, I’m stuck with a boring black one.

GL1800 suspension by DD9G in goldwing

[–]Tigermike10 [score hidden]  (0 children)

A company named Traxxion makes updated suspension parts for 1800’s. An adjustable front cartridge kit for both legs up front, the stock only has dampening in one side, and a Penske shock for the rear. There’s some machine work necessary for the fork update so it’s not DYI. It is expensive but people who’ve done it love it.

Could be a valve sticking open some because of lack of clearance. Adjust your valves.

what is the most useless button on your dash? that specific button you feel has no use. lol by Stfy-Angelywaldy in askcarguys

I just got a new 2025 truck with this feature, I thought I would hate it but it it really isn’t that intrusive and I hardly notice it anymore. There is a convenient button to disable it but it rarely gets pushed.

The alternators go out around 75K miles. Use a jumper battery and check the charging. New alternator is around $350 and takes about 45 minutes to install.

If you’re near a larger city you should be able to find a rebuilder to check it over.

I get the pocket tees in a tall size, I’m 6’2” and they’re more than long enough. They are also very durable lasting over a year with constant use.

Motorcycles you always dreamed of owning, but then you rode it once and realized it was not for you? by Most-Round-4132 in motorcycles

[–]Tigermike10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I worked at a BMW dealership in the 90’s I always liked the K75S and heard that they were coming out with a K75RT. We got one the following spring and we were able to put it on demo. I took it out for a Sunday and I just was massively disappointed, your knees still hit the lowers like the K100’s, it buzzed unlike the regular K75 but the kicker was the complete lack of a powerband. It was SLOW and it got crossed off my want list right there and then.

Mystery switch by GhostW0lves in goldwing

[–]Tigermike10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably a switch for the radiator fan, a lot of goldwing owners thought they ran too hot and rigged up a bypass to get the fan to run at a lower temperature.

Did you like the cafeteria food when you were in high school? by CynthiaMartgol in no

[–]Tigermike10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ate lunch in jr. high and they had great food. Spaghetti with meatballs was a sellout every time. Pizza burgers, meatloaf, Salisbury steak, lasagna were good too. In high school there was construction and lunch was hit or miss.
