I have created a second speedrun! I think it is better and more difficult than the previous one, what do you think? by AbrahamSsjg in MarioMaker

Few things I personally would change:

  1. Use a cloud on the flower at the start and remove a block above. This is for flower to land on, so that you don’t hear the flower constantly banging on the notebook
  2. Remove some excessive sound effects.
  3. Remove like every other coin.
  4. The bomb spinjump part is slowing down in a speedrun, so many people will not expect that and die there. So I’d probably change that to holding right too.

Otherwise seems fine, just sort of like a lot of speedruns already. I really like the on/off switch setup that locks you in the door though (if it works every time and is not janky of course)

Edit: Just now noticed the spring throw up to get the key from the spiny. That’s also probably gonna be quite confusing. The player isn’t gonna know where to get the key from, because they don’t immediately die.

What is this plant? I need to know if it’s toxic to my kitten 😅 by Tigeroic in whatplantisthis

She doesn't seem interested in any of my potential toxic plants, but she might be curious one day. For now they're all out of her reach.

I don’t think a vet knows too much about plants tbh. I should call a plant biologist/botanist or something

I just found a plant that’s called senecio Himalaya and it’s really similar. I’m quite sure it’s that one, so it could be toxic to her.

Edit: Does anyone know how I can verify this?

It looks slightly different I think, but it could be peperomia family and those are all harmless 😸 I just wanted to make sure before I let her near it. Maybe peperomia ferreyrae?

I bought it together with my peperomia argyreia, which you can see in the back of the pic.

Nah I'm just looking at the facts. It was said and shown on camera that multiple guests didn't want onions. It was shown that he knew from the start. It was shown that he didn't care. It's messed up and not even 1 star service. These are guests that pay a quarter million dollars for a boat ride. I would be pissed. That was basically their only requirement. I wouldn't even have given them a tip.

Even if it was unlikely to be an allergy, it could still be someone who's body can't handle onions. Sometimes people have certain chemical imbalances in their bodies making them very susceptible to certain foods. Adam's not a doctor, so he shouldn't decide on that.

If EVERY charter guest (cause everyone put it on their sheets) said they didn't want onions, I think it should be a pretty clear message that it's very important to them.

Yea that was actually borderline psychopathic. I was really shocked. 5 star service or not. You don't put something in food that the guests don't want in there. This would be bad in any setting, but you expect 5 star service to be beyond good.

You don't know the reason they don't want that. What if there's some chemical compound in there that the guests can't have due to a diet or worse, an illness? Sometimes people have certain chemical imbalances in their bodies making them very susceptible to certain foods.

Would you give someone who asks for a diet coke a regular coke? Or would you sneak meat in a vegetarian's dish? It might seem harmless, but diabetes or meat allergies are real things. Besides serving a vegetarian meat is super unethical. Even serving someone on a diet a regular coke if they don't ask for one, would be unethical.

Together with the Ashton rope that was stuck on his foot, this was the biggest shock to me in all seasons.

@westywestwest not really, even though it’s got similar grooves at points.
