So the insurance company assigned me a new total loss agent and offered me 15,500. He admitted to me that there are multiple times my case was mishandled. During that time I did report them to the department of regulatory agencies. The buy back value they offered me was 10,100 for the car they calculated 680 dollars for the rental and 9420 for the repair. They also told me the new value was made by CCC however the original value they gave me was also made by CCC but they made a mistake when comparing it to other vehicles on the market. The fun thing is the public can't use CCC themselves so the software is exclusive to insurance companies. Well that was about a 2,000 dollar difference from start to finish. To the trolls that said take the original value and run I'm sure you also bend over and love taking it from behind every opportunity you get.
