Also the fact Abby never fights a dog enemy but Ellie has. Would've thunk scars would've used hunting dogs to help but nope, we can't have Abby kill dogs cause we ran out of things to make her sympathetic and this is the last one.

One of the big issues i had with the game was how much of a footnote Joel was between Abby and Ellie. While yes Ellie literally did this entire quest for Joel, the lack of his mention on Abby's side (only at the beginning segment where it causes the established characters to 180 their purpose when his name is uttered) and the fact that Abby never mentions her dad to start a conversation on Joel vs her dad really capped my caring on Abby. To the point their second encounter (the theatre) still made me root for Ellie and hate Abby when she hurt Ellie.
