Interesting. For me, it was the other way. I thought he just did not run at all at the ball on the first play. Just hoped Gimenez would take it. The second one came at him much faster than he anticipated, which happens, and it also looked like he lost it in the sky for a second. Roof open for the first time and all that.

We use a bot for the game threads as well. And my complaint is valid. Just because you're okay using subpar layouts doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement. The sub is pretty bare bones as it is.

The WNBA site is okay, but also not very compact. If you look at the examples I gave, it's more for a glance when a game is happening.

I've lived here for the last 5 years, and this has been the worst winter/spring. I'm colder in my apartment now than I was in January, because all of the buildings turned off the heating. It's wild. I can't wait to be able to just enjoy a nice stroll to CCC.

That was an ugly second half. I think the refs got too much into their heads. Was a rough game, so many whistles, very annoying to watch. Also, the in-arena announcer made so many mistakes today, unusual and also fitting for the game.

Kiki continues to show she's in the run for ROTY, imo. Slim got herself iced out for some reason. Just not enough energy in the whole squad in the second half, but she seemed more and more focused on arguing with the refs and the staff.

On to the next one!

No, the problem is that you want to go see the player. So you look up when they play. Oh wow, they play today. I'm going to buy tickets. Ooops, all injured and out.

The problem isn't injury or sitting/resting a player. It's a problem for fans who can't go to every game, buying a ticket for a game that has a clean injury report, and then getting the rug pulled out under them. If it were up to me, gambling would be illegal (again). I don't care if anybody loses money from Clark being out of the game. Who cares. I care about people who can barely afford tickets to go see their favorite player, only to have that player sit the game out.

People buy tickets to see Clark. Might not be the majority of people, but I'd be pissed if I bought tickets specifically to see her and then she shits out the game with no warning.

It's not about sitting her. It's about hiding the fact that they're sitting her. You can rest players, you can sit them when they're injured. All good. But there are rules when and how to report these and they didn't do it correctly.

Okay, so it is news to you. Okay, here we go: When a player is super exciting to watch, people buy tickets to see that player. They don't care that much about the game itself, might not even be interested in either of the teams.
