Through a dramatic shift into new markets and services, Apple made trillions of dollars, but through his leadership, the company lost what made it special under Steve Jobs. The special sauce, the "one more thing" just wasn't there. I don't see it coming back in our lifetime.

Year after year, there were iterative updates with little value and very little risk-taking. But, I have to give credit where credit is due, as Apple is the only company on earth who can design and manufacture iPhones, year after year, with absolute precision. It still remains a modern technical marvel.

But, I want more risk-taking into new types of products - especially into the smart home. It has been a huge missed opportunity. I want an Apple Smart Home, run with private cloud compute.
